I wonder how many players we end up with still on the team. All indications are that DDJ likes Brannen, but at some point that may not matter. If DDJ wants to play in an NCAA tournament in his final year, than he may join the transfer train if Eason and Mason or Davenport go first.

It's too easy to see this whole thing falling apart.

The only guys I would bet on to stay at this point are the guys who if they transfer are probably going to move to a low major and possibly still get fewer minutes than they would here. That list is MAW and Lakhin.

Must be tough to see the worst in every possible situation. Every post for two years is just negativity. Like do you just wake up worried the world is going to end? It’s a basketball team, I guarantee they will have a team next year and that team will have fans.

You sure? Justin already announced he's transferring his fandom.

Hey now...he's optimistic Diarra is all-NBA. Just needs to be unleashed. Just another reason to fire CJB!

Is it negativity if I'm right?

I try to see both sides, but right now it's hard to see the bright side. It's easy to see how this thing could fall apart overnight. It's hard to envision how Brannen could possibly rebuild. Recruiting is going to be hell when over half of his recruits have transferred out in under 2 years.

Chad, who is late to the party as usual, confirms that we should expect more transfers, possibly as early as tomorrow.

Given that earlier rumors were that Tari would enter the transfer portal tomorrow, I'm going to go out on a Justin Williams like limb and speculate that Tari is going to be officially gone as of tomorrow.

I’m starting to think there might be an issue between the players and the coach

No, you don’t try to see both sides. You continue to post unsubstantiated rumors to try and prove yourself right. Granted players are leaving, they are leaving everywhere. I think Saunders is the only legit surprise so far. Even if more do go that doesn’t mean there is huge behind the scene issue. Yet you want there to be an issue so badly you keep posting rumors of rumors.

One of the great things about the Cincy Slangin podcast is that they agree on me on Diarra. He absolutely should have been given minutes over Vogt. He's not going to the NBA, but putting Vogt on the floor over Diarra is a terrible coaching decision.

To be fair, I’m not sure those guys are too knowledgeable. Seem like big fans but I don’t think they know too much about basketball.

I think dou should have played more but I’m not sure he’s way better than Vogt. Definitely could have been used in some spots.

I don't want there to be an issue, but all indications are that there are. I'm just following the bearcats related news and rumors. I'd gladly talk about our recruits and prospects for next year. But since we have no recruits and virtually every player may transfer, this is the exciting news story regarding next year.

Saunders literally said he left because of the coach, Harvey conspicuously left out the coaching staff in his farewell tweet, Brannen's wife went on a spree liking tweets that trashed Harvey/Saunders for leaving.

Some of the most connected people (Lobot, Justin Williams, Chad) have indicated that there is a disconnect between some of the players and the staff. And that we should expect more guys to transfer.

And that's just the stuff from today. If you want to go back in time, there is plenty more.

If you think there isn't a behind the scenes problem it's because you are sticking your head in the sand. The question now isn't if there is a problem, but how big it will get and if Brannen will make it to year 3. If it gets much bigger (all indications are that it will), the next question is if we can get these guys to come back if we fire Brannen.
