I seriously think they do this on purpose. It is VERY warm in the shoe. You really shouldn't wear a sweatshirt to the games because it gets HOT.

With our depth and pressing style I believe they keep the gym at 120 degrees to help wear down the opposing teams.

thoughts?

Been like that forever in the Shoe. My guess is they try to keep the court at a certain temperature and that is the last place to heat up. Pile in all the people and get in the upper deck and it just gets ridiculously warm in there.

Back in the days when UC was playing the home games at Riverfront Coliseum (now US Bank Arena) the owners of the arena could not afford to turn the heat on, it was extremely cold, opposing teams would be bundled up in blankets sitting on the bench. A little too warm is a whole lot better than very cold.
