We can have the same record as Temple if they lose 1 more time and we win out. I know they have the tiebreaker, I just don't want a team going better than 13-5 if we can't. Temple hasn't played as well as their record says, I bet they'll lose again.
hope your right but I don't see it happening.they have Tulane,Ucf and Memphis left. I'd be shocked if they lost again.

Man Tulsa rpi already up 32, which makes it the best in the American.

We're back to 60 and won't get any help til we play Houston

Exactly what I was saying earlier...only 3 teams max will get in this tourney. There will be at least 1 team who will get screwed. The American has never gotten respect and won't this year against other power conferences. It could easily be us. Going to be an interesting two weeks.

With Memphis out of it we really need them to pick up some key wins against Tulsa and Temple. At least one win over them would help. And I really think we would get the notch over uconn if they really would only pick 3.

We need a significant jump in rpi for that tho. That jump is only going to come from beating smu

Not wide open in rhythm though. Can't just be shooting to be shooting. Make every shot count
Wide open is wide open. If our offense is getting us wide open looks it don't get much better then that. If we can't make them it's time to find people who can.

I don't feel like Cobb has been wide open very often lately. Kind of no point in playing him when we play 100% halfcourt basketball.

jake he's had some very good looks and shot terribly. He may be pressing a bit but it's time to shine. We need the offense. With the way they are doubling Gary he is getting his share of good looks. As far as not playing him as bad as he defended against Tulsa it's a wonder he was on the floor as much as he was. He is supposed to be a shooter. That's his calling card. He has been bad since the SMU game. 25-77 since SMU from 3.

exactly no point if he's going to be off ball. cobb should've been in film room over summer studying reggie miller, ray allen and rip hamilton move without ball.

Even more reason to keep getting Clark the ball outside the arc. And more space for Ellis to be the trash man. I agree with what you've been saying lately about needing production from the 2. Can't do without it.

its huge difference between catching the ball and shooting off balance and shooting with feet set in rhythm. Both shooting over 40% if they catch and shoot in rhythm. Its funny you leave troy off list and he's main culprit for WIDE OPEN top of key 3's

thats on mick if his player in funk to find him a early easy basket. D1 2 guard should be able to do more than stand around and shoot 3's anyway. Watching X play ALL their guards can get ball and GO!!! None of that fumbling and bumbling we see from our guys.
