AAC Conference Play

man, smu had ample opportunities in that last minute and couldn't put the ball in the bucket in any way, shape or form

Temple @ Houston tonight. I hope Houston wins. That'd tie them with us...but since we still play them, I like that route.

ECU up 35-28 @SMU in the 1st half. Any chance SMU players are lacking motivation knowing their season is almost over?

Houston is crumbling down the stretch. Not getting good looks. Enechionyia has been making tough shots for Temple.

Damn. Enechionyia 3 to tie, Houston TO, Coleman 3. Houston was up 59-51. Now down 67-64 12 seconds left Houston ball. Gray has been really bad defensively for Houston.

Damnit. Temple wins. C'mon Houston, do your part.

Coleman is clutch we was against us and Smu he hit a huge three with about 15 second left to put temple up 3. Watched the whole game and did not think ether team looked good. The intensity seemed to be way down from our games

I was watching on silent, while I listened to a podcast. And there was so little movement on houstons end that I thought that my video feed had frozen on my iPad

Temple has pulled quite a few great escapes this season. Credit to them but it seems like lady luck has been on their side more often than not.

My guess is their little carpet ride ends emphatically in the AAC quarters or semis. Personally, I'd love for UC to see them in a semi.

My dream scenario for UC in the conference tournament is the 2 or 3 seed, opposite Tulsa. Temple in the conf. final. Not that I think they fear UConn, which bizarrely seems like a good matchup for the 'Cats this year.

Temple at Tulsa tonight at 7:00 on ESPNnews. Current line has Tulsa at -6.5

Who is everybody rooting for? The Bearcats are chasing Temple to be named the AAC regular season conference champs and #1 seed in the conference tournament.

Tulsa on the other hand is a bubble team who if things play out a certain way could potentially take a tourney spot away from UC.

Personally I'm rooting for Tulsa in hopes that Cincy takes care of their own business.

Current AAC Standings

TEAM CONF
Temple 11-3
SMU 10-4
Cincinnati 10-5
Tulsa 10-5
Connecticut 9-5
Houston 9-6
Memphis 6-8
UCF 5-9
South Florida 4-11
Tulane 3-11
East Carolina 2-12

I want Temple to lose at least 2 more times.
