Was just in game

I could tell earlier in the year that offensively he didn't really take that next step like they thought he would, still very very raw. His biggest impact is still just defensively with them blocks. I personally almost like uconn better when hamilton was moved to the 4. But Octavius really struggles with brimah and that length

I agree. I think they are better defensively but weaker on the offense.

Yea no doubt brimah will cause problems for us and our scoring in the paint. That's gonna be a battle. I'm still very confident they make the tourney. On a side note I saw lunardi had us and uconn in the field with Tulsa being on the next four out list

Cats may be finding themselves at the right time. Hope to build off these last few games and get on a roll. Shame about Shaq. He looked to be finding his niche as well. Hope he is back soon.

I'm with you on finding ourselves at the right time. Sk senior year we kind of peaked and got real hot earlier and sort of crashed a little towards march. These last three games have been huge and is perfect time to get hot, uconn win was so big for confidence and momentum. Would love to see us blow by usf from the start and allow troy and gary to rest in the second have to get ready for that early Saturday tip at Memphis, that is an extremely extremely quick turn around especially with an 8 o'clock tip Thursday. Need both wins can't slip up....and for shaq I think he will be back in no time he's listed as day to day so I'm not to worried just hope he continues to attach (he didn't do much at uconn before injury but the previous two I saw a shaq I've never seen before)

I think our best basketball is ahead of us this year.

Hopefully the Shaq injury will offer Evans some great experience. Then Shaq can truly get healthy before he comes back...and hopefully when he does come back, he can pick right back up where he left off.

Ollie was smart to put Brimah on Clark and he did a good job controlling him. You can really put anyone on Ellis with good size and he can't score in the post consistently.

Yea I agree with that. If Ollie puts brimah on clark all game that would be real hard for us to overcome, cuz Gary doesn't have the length his post hook wouldn't work at all

At Memphis, uconn at home and smu at home are more than likely 2 of them losses, rest of games should be wins but those teams are to good to beat twice, they know what we run and know what we are going to try and do against them.

Wouldn't the same logic apply to them. We know what they run as well.

We didn't lose we won't have the same have to win mentality that the other team will nobody wants to get beat twice by someone, they will have extra fire in them to beat us, you hear all the time coaches say in conference play it so hard to beat someone twice because you know each other so much and see him all the time. If you heard Coach Ollie post game he was mad that he let us do what he knew we were going to do next time we play them I guarantee you it will be a lot harder fought game, lower score, plus with brimah back that adds even more of a reason to count that as a loss.

I feel like our best shooting nights are going to be at home and best to try to get the ball inside on the road. With Brimah out in the first game it was a perfect scenario for us imo. I think shooting and the crowd will carry us in game 2.
