I'm still not a big fan of Vogt as I think he's going to be in constant foul trouble against good teams. But he gives constant effort, plays within his abilities and goes up strong. Sorolla is bigger, but plays weaker and seems to be lacking in effort consistently.

A game that we come out and don't give full effort because we expect it to be easy is a good teaching tool for the coach. Better than than not give full effort against a less terrible team and end up getting beat (like ECU last year).

I think that’s how everyone feels about Vogt. Just don’t be awful, everything else is a bonus.

I don't think the effort is bad. Just the discipline! Bad shot selection and horrible passing from a few

How do you let one of the worst teams turn you over this much? They are jumping every pass now because they are all telegraphed. Jaevin made some nice early no looks but even some of his are getting deflected now. McNeal has been pretty bad today shooting and passing

Well discipline is in some ways mental effort. We came in thinking easy win, so are less careful with passes and more willing to take risks. Even McNeal has committed a lot of TO's. Jaevin came to play though and got us the lead early.

I expect to see us look a lot better in the second half.
 
This shows that we are not going to be a very good team without Jarron. Anyone know what is going on?

I'd prefer to feel like that about our backup, not our starter. It's also concerning that we feel the need to double to help Vogt on D even against A&M's freshman center.
 
McNeal has been terrible. Jaevin is going to have a great year. Not sure what MAW does. He’s just there right now. Harvey could be a future point guard. Davenport will be good.
 
Definitely haven’t gone over the zone offense yet or at least thoroughly, my guess is we will see more of it until we prove we can beat it

Well brooks left and he’s all we have. If we had a better option, I’m sure we would use them.
