I don't see Johnson making it to conference play as a starter.
Guyn started every game his last year here. I don't see it happening.

Can we stop talking about attendance and the comparison to X? By years end, we only average approx 600-900 less per game. Crappier arena and an inferior product (currently) causes this. But you all blow this completely
out of proportion. New arena, better product = sellouts in the new shoe and we will put this stupid comparison to bed
I mean Jenifer looks great so far but the best player on the team, joke right?
If he can take KJ's minutes, I'll be happy. Not sure why people are claiming KJ being sick has made him play bad. Have you all not been watching for the last 3 years? Or maybe he has just been sick for the past 3 years. His pass last night to TC when a defender was trailing TC is something you rarely even see in 4th grade basketball.
Literally not one single person on this board said KJ was amazing and only played bad because he was sick...
Where did I say anyone said he played amazing?? I can however find posts mentioning an illness as perhaps affecting his play.
I'm not pretending I was with you on this subject. I was with those who thought he needed to pull in the reigns a little. Less turnovers, better D and better shot selection. Some fans thought it would cramp his style if he did that. However, the transformation is now earning him significant minutes.
Everyone saw the ball skills and passing ability. Not many, if any, questioned that.
Well, we'll just agree to disagree. I remember all the posts because they were for my benefit. Lots of negative stuff was posted. But, I'm sure everyone will say now that they've always been a fan of him. I'm just happy for the kid. He could have been doing this good last year. I'm also smart enough to realize that these are cupcakes and maybe things will change for him.
I'm happy for him too and the team. I hope he keeps it up. Last year is done and gone. Tough to say what would have happened if Cronin let him play through it. I'm proud of him for working his butt off and taking that approach as opposed to a guy like Mormon who didn't want to be coached. Says a lot about Jenifer.
JJ has certainly put in the work this off season. My guess would be that after the season when the staff evaluated his season and gave him things to work on he took it to heart, He has improved in every aspect. Kudos to him and the staff.
God I hope so.
Jennifer already IS playing more than Johnson.
Wasn't Johnson held to 18 minutes in game 1 bc he was sick?
Any reasonable person is going to agree that at least after 2 games KJ has no business playing over JJ or Cumberland. It's 2 games against cupcakes though and barring health or injury you're not going to see Mick make any changes. You're going to have to give up the crusade, at least for a little while longer.
Anyways, if we're somehow able to squeak by Rhode Island we've got much bigger issues than KJ as to why a team like Duke is going to blow our doors off.
I definitely liked Jenifer. I was there when NVR came into MM and just killed it. I saw JJ make some unbelievable passes last yr. He did start to shoot to much and TO prone. Really enjoying him play now.Lol...I wouldn't call what was posted in here about Jenifer last year bandwagon worthy, but I'll start pretending as if all of you were there with me and Bulldog last year.....if it makes you all feel better.
