How does Tulsa get away with having UConn and Temple as their only games. While I wouldnt want that for SOS purposes but still. Schools like Memphis, UConn, UC , SMU, Temple, Tulsa, amd Houston should all be mirror teams.

Tulsa will be bad now that Danny Manning's core is gone.

AAC is such a joke. I know I've ranted on here before about the Conference Tourney being back in Hartford CT but its complete shit. So many good cities like Philly, New Orleans, Houston to play it at but yet it returns to a home advantage for UConn.

Go farther than uconn then come talk about it being up there. They've won two titles past 10yrs I'm not complaining about that. Im pretty sure if we dont get into B12 when new arena open up we'll get it 3/7 yrs.

What other major conference has its conference tournament on a team's home court?

Uconn hosting the AAC tourney is equal to Kentucky hosting the SEC or Kansas hosting the Big 12 or Duke/UNC hosting the AAC.

Its so terrible.

Not in my eyes. It a be 100% fair if previous season conference tournament champs got it every year.

But thats not the case. Its been at XL center no matter who won it prior. I made they changed it the XL center before UCONN even won the AAC tourney.

And doing that just sets up repeating teams being your champ which ultimately could weaken your conference if 1 team always wins it.

Hold it at a Neutral arena and keep home court advantage out of it

Nah. This isnt little league buddy zero participation trophies. Reward winners. Anybody can win a conference tournament

The fact of the matter is it is probably a financially motivated decision. Been around this earth a long time and 99.9 percent of the things that go on fall under that rule. The League isn't favoring UCONN by holding the tourney there because they like them better. Got to be some dollars somewhere. I'd also guess everyone is getting a taste because if not the other conference members would be screaming.

It's for sure money. It's the only way the AAC tourney would get 10k fans or more to attend. But with that logic they need to rotate between Cincy, Memphis, UConn and maybe Temple. Those would be the only places the fan base is decent.
