Does anybody know when the Conference Player of the Year Award will be announced? I'm hoping after Shabazz only managed to score 9 pts and his team getting absolutely man handled that he'd be out of the running. Factor in that Russ Smith had only 3 pts and SK with another strong showing today again carrying his team to victory the award has to go to him.

Conference Player of the Year candidates need to score more than 9 and 3 points in the final regular season game.

And before anybody mentions that Russ Smith had 13 ast today just remember that he has better shooters to pass to and a big man down low in Harrell that literally dunks everything he gets his hands on. I think I read somewhere recently that he broke the all time Louisville dunk record this season. That's a lot of high percentage shots.

Woke up this morning and looked every where I could think of for a UC article. Conference Champs!? How good does it feel to say that again?!

I'm rooting for South Florida on Wednesday, as I don't really want to face a Dalton Pepper again. Actually, I also think I want Memphis to beat UCONN. I just think we match up well with Memphis (even though it would be a home game for them), whereas UCONN seems to give us more trouble.

We play the winner of Central Florida and Temple. UC is better than both Memphis and UConn. As long as UC doesn't have 20 turnovers against UConn, they'll win.

I would definitely rather play Central Florida, Temple seems to give us some trouble. I think we may be better than both, I just think we match up better with Memphis. Memphis doesn't really press much at all, and that really works in our favor. We only had 3 turnovers against them the other night, and we always seem to get them to turn the ball over.

Two best teams in the field are us and Louisville. Fully expect for us and them to make the finals.

I agree that Cincy and Louisville are the class of the AAC. But SMU, Memphis, and UConn have gotten the best of the co-champions 4 times this season.

I find it interesting that we are 2-0 versus Memphis, but Louisville is 0-2. Match-ups are always so important. Also, Louisville swept UConn and SMU, while we split.

one game at a time but I do think we make the finals.

We are 1-1 versus Louisville.

Any college-age crazy guys feel like road tripping it down for this thing and taking some days off work? I'm feeling it...

KenPom says our odds at winning quarters is 88%, semis is 48%, winning the tournament is 18%. Louisville is the favorite at 53% to win it.
