They can't control those games. I'm talking about games we control. Look at their out of conference compared to ours and tell me it's the same. Come on man.

They have to schedule that way bc their conference gives them nothing. The AAC in its worst year is way better than the WCC. Who cares about which are conference and which are not? Stack up the best wins on the schedules.

The fact is: we had only 6 chances to get top 50 wins this season and we capitalized on just half of them.

Most of the teams ahead of us have more actual top 50 wins than we had chances.

Remember when I said to blame our conference?

our conference gave us just 2 chances at top 50 wins and both are the same team

Also we didn't choose Albany OR Brown. We had to play them as part of the Rhode Island/Duke/Penn St thing...fwiw.

Again, I'm not saying we should be ahead of Gonzaga. I'm saying we get dinged bc of our conference, despite not having bad losses, and Gonzaga doesn't, even though their conference is worse. Obviously 1 loss to 4 will result in different seeds...but a 1 vs a 5? That's horsesh*t.

Ok, their wins are way better than ours. that is my whole point

I'm betting this year is an outlier for the AAC. All the media outlets clearly view the league as part of the P7.

I agree. It's usually not a bad bball conference but To avoid taking that chance, we could schedule better. It can't hurt

oh I agree. I think next year, the league will be fine and back to a 4-5 big league.

UCONN will figure it out
Memphis has tubby
UCF returns Taylor and Tacko
SMU will be really good if they get Semi back and add McMurray
UC will be top 10

For me I guess it just all boils down to the idea of Cincinnati winning 30 games heading into the NCAAs and not being a Top 4 seed. But if we make a run this year, our name alone will pretty much guarantee that will never happen again, regardless of any specific metrics.

I don't think SMU will be that good. Doubt semi comes back (don't think he's stock is getting any higher), and they are losing their 2 seniors. Memphis is losing their best player. Uconn should be probably top 30 team. Don't think the league will be that different next year.

For the sake of our league, I want to see SMU vs Cincinnati Sunday afternoon right before the bracket show. People complain about our time slot...I think it's brilliant. All eyes will be on the game, especially if the ranked teams are squaring off. A Championship game at any other time just gets lost in the shuffle.

I like it also. Probably only 1-2 games on at that time. I think we beat them on a neutral also

I would be surprised if Dedric Lawson goes pro this year. He might test the waters but imo he isn't a first round pick. He would probably benefit from another year in college.

Thought he already said he was gone. Didn't care where he got drafted

Dont forget SMU is getting McMurray from USF next year to fill a guard spot
