Uconn is getting pumped. They seriously need to fire Ollie. They just get progressively worse.

Wichita State losing a road game at Texas Southern isn't ideal...lol!

I think the grind of an upgraded conference might be getting to them. Couple off nights in our league but most of the time you still gotta bring it or you'll lose.

Yeah they certainly don't look like have in the other games I've seen them play. Shamet is playing especially bad for himself. I didn't really want to see them lose but this definitely gonna give us a good head start on winning the conference

I don't see Wichita not losing another game. Which mean if we can go minimum of 2/4 in the @SMU, @HOU, and the Wichita series. It should be just about a guaranteed conference championship.

Here are the facts about Wichita State when you take away the ranking, hype, etc:

Wins over Tourney teams if it were selection Sunday - 1, Marquette, on November 21st

Maybe Houston is a tourney team, and they beat them @WSU but we're a long ways away.

They've played 6 teams that will be in the Tourney or in the discussion on the bubble, and they're 2-4 with wins over Houston and Marquette, loses to Houston, ND, and SMU/Oklahoma in their building. I just don't see them actually being a top 10-15 team anymore.

This conference is Cincy's to own at 16-2 or 17-1.

Agreed. This loss all but cemented UC winning the regular season championship. I know there are still a lot of games left but I would take a major trip up by the cats to lose it at this point.

We match up VERY well with Houston (as we did last season too).

SMU will be more of a handful in their place. I expect that game to go down to the wire.

Wichita is the only team that can match us at every position. I'm hoping we have the conference wrapped up by March 4th (if not before) so we can play more loose when we visit them for Senior night.

SMU is going to hang on at home against Tulane. We can win @SMU. I'm more confident about that than I was a few weeks ago.

My guess is that UCF knew Tacko needed surgery and generally shoulder injuries are the kind that can be put off if the player can tolerate the pain.

When BJ Taylor came back and after surviving without him, it was probably best to go ahead with the surgery now.

If he is smart he comes back to UCF, Too slow for the NBA

He wouldn't get drafted at all this year - he must come back if he wants to even have a remote shot.
