Tulsa was thoroughly outplayed by Oral Roberts last night. Today, ECU lost at home to UNC Asheville. Thus far those are the only two losses.

Why didn't Torian Graham play for Houston?

Here's a post from a thread about him on Houston's Scout forum:

"A lot of people have asked where he is.. I have heard that he hasn't been showing up to practice, have a terrible attitude, and will most likely transfer/leave the team... I was excited to see him as a scorer, but apparently he doesn't believe in team ball, or defense. I Hope he comes around and realizes that this is his last stop.. Nobody wants a player that has a bad attitude and a bad work ethic."

-----------

Don't know how credible that poster is on their forum, but didn't see any other posters try to dispute it. He played in their exhibition, but apparently did not make the trip to Murray State.

Remember when people were assuming we "lost out" on this kid? It's sounding more and more like Cronin backed off his recruitment.

I just don't understand why anyone would act like that... He has so much opportunity and refuses to take advantage of it, it's a shame it really is.

The Torian Graham saga continues. The talented guard has decided to leave Houston.

Good call Mr Cronin! In all seriousness I hope Torian can get himself straight and utilize his talents somehow. I was looking forward playing against him too.

Well Tulane is currently getting crushed by 20 at home by Wake Forest.

Tulsa is being played tight by UL-Lafayette but it's still early.

Non-AAC games - Georgia State is giving Iowa State all they can handle at home and Florida lost to Miami.

Meaningful games to UC during the 24 hours of hoops marathon:

SMU vs Gonzaga 11:00 pm ESPN2
Memphis vs Wichita State (in South Dakota) 2:00 pm ESPN
Utah vs San Diego State 4:00 pm ESPN
Toledo vs VCU 6:00 pm ESPNU

I would also add Manhattan @ Massachusetts on ESPN2 at 11:00 am if you're interested in seeing Jermaine Lawrence play.

I'll be interested in the Wichita St at Memphis. The shockers are favored by 8. I would not be surprised to see Memphis win.

I would be shocked. Memphis is a disaster...

Amen. Absolute dumpster fire so far. Dont let anyone ever tell you facilities and fan support dont matter in recruiting. Memphis has incredibly underachieved under Pastner and he still gets top talent every year. It also doesnt hurt when you hire the father of two top 10 kids either.
