Some of my buddies and I give out the "Chris Duhon Award" for players who feel like they've been in college forever. Dez Wells was on the list this year. Others this year were Quinn Cook, Rakeem Christmas, Thomas Gipson, Juwan Staten...and Ron Baker is only a JR he's definitely the front runner next year...

There are so many guys that fit in that group! I would put Sean Kilpatrick and Cashmere Wright in there too. SK came in with Lance and just left last year. Kind of obscure but I think of Myles Mack from Rutgers and Eli Carter now at Florida (and he is just a RS junior too).

Haha guys you can trace back to the old Big East are definitely ancient.

Wow! HUGE win for NC State in Chapel Hill. NC State has jumped to #38 in the RPI. They've got wins over Duke, Pittsburgh, @Louisville and @UNC. They are a tournament team, IMO. UC now solidly has 5 top 50 RPI wins.

U of L always seems to have guys like that. Francisco Garcia, Peyton Siva, Russ Smith, etc. They all seemed like they would never leave, probably because they were always so good, haha.

Hahs oh definitely Siva. I think the key is being good or being a high profile recruit on a veteran tean when you're young...then 2 or 3 years later it's shocking that you're still around. LeBryan Nash is another one this year.

Watching Nebraska play last night and I really wish we could have a second chance against them right now. They looked pretty bad last night and have for most of the Big Ten season. I think we would beat Nebraska by 20+ points today.

20 is always a stretch for a team that averages 61ppg. But agree we would win 8/10 against them. Turning out to be maybe our third worst lost...

Positive attitudes people! Think about Cornhusker fans before this season, sure they were aiming for a sweet 16 like season etc, and they're 13-15...

It was the other night I looked up at the banners at 5/3, and we have an entire 'flag' filled with NCAA participant years, 15 in a row in total, what a rare gem that is to be a fan of. We're 4 in a row and if we hold on here comes 5, enjoy it!! Only 11 teams have streaks dating back prior to 2011! And 3 of them are Syracuse, Florida and Kansas St so we're about to be in the elite for that category if we make it this year.

P.S. that 15 year streak under Huggins is 10th all time for consecutive appearances.

That's good stuff.

Way OT but just read that Anthony Mason died at age 48. Just thought I'd mention it since he came up a few times while we were looking at Antoine Mason (who is having a pretty good year) over the summer.

Anybody watching the Virginia/Syracuse game? What a turnaround by Virginia. They had 6 points about 3/4 of the way into the first half and are winning 40-27. They are an incredible defensive team.

Texas up 3 with two minutes left, there was a tie up and players left the bench. 3 baylor players and 4 Texas players ejected. Big name players for Texas that is hugeeee their entire front line was just kicked out. How do you do that with your season on the line
