Texas A&M is really sweating it out against Auburn. Bubble teams aren't playing their way in for sure!
Iowa just lost to Penn State, may drop them to an 8/9 seed and if UC can win a couple games this weekend we could jump up to a 7 easy.
Old Dominion lost. Good news for Tulsa.
To add, looking at Texas A&M's resume, why are they even in most of the predicted fields?! They're best wins are a sweep of LSU (#48 in the RPI). A loss against Auburn today is a nail in the coffin.
Random fact, I just heard Northwestern has never played in the NCAA tourney. That is crazy. Maybe most people knew that but that was a new one to me.
Yep, there are 5 teams that have been a part of division 1 since it's creation that have never made the NCAA's: Northwestern, William & Mary (lost in conference title game 2 years in a row), St. Francis-Bklyn (lost in conference title game this year), Army and Citadel.
Also good news for Cincinnati as we jump to #32 in the RPI with the Middle Tennessee win...
I just can't cheer for X. Them being from Cincinnati I really try to when they play but I always find myself hoping they lose. You really shouldn't hate a team like like do X and the Steelers. But hey I do. Good game to watch though.
Im right there with ya man. I watched the game and I genuinely hate them. Butler played poorly down the stretch. No offensive plays. I always root against them so it ticks me off when they win. Its annoying when they beat teams like Butler and G'Town and get credited with Top 25 wins. In my opinion they are not top 25 teams. I also can not stand Jalen Reynolds, he is a 22 year old Sophomore. He's a loser with a punk attitude. I can't believe I have to see him for 2 more years.
But they are media Darlings. Georgetown is nearly always overrated. Butler is still living off Brad Stevens and frankly I've watched a lot of BEast games and the league outside of Villanova is not that great in my opinion.
