Tulsa beat Auburn 53-35 in Vegas late last night.

Also, BYU and SDSU in Maui ended up being a terrific game with the Aztecs winning 92-87 in double OT.

There's a a couple of good games at 10:00 tonight. Michigan vs Nova on ESPN and San Diego St vs Pitt. on ESPN 2

Colorado only scored 33 in a loss to Wyoming last week....There is a widespread problem with offense around college basketball.

VCU should remain ranked if they beat Oregon until we see them in a few weeks, same with San Diego State because if they win tonight they'll likely rematch with #3 Arizona (tough loss to them last year). Nebraska fell to Rhode Island last week so it may be tough for them to get back in the top 25 when we meet but Creighton snuck in at #23 this week so they should be ranked if we were to meet. That means we are looking at 3/4 ranked teams in the OOC, with 2 at home and potentially 2 away from home...

SMU lost at home to Arkansas tonight. They are now 2-3 on the season losing all three meaningful games (Arkansas, Gonzaga and Indiana).

With the way the RPI is calculated and how much weight the selection committee puts on it, SMU will still benefit from those losses. I thought they were hosed last year when they didn't get in, but you have to schedule good competition in the non-conference because our league is pretty bad after the first 5 or so teams.

Btw, Louisville only scored 45 points tonight against Cleveland. They suck and and struggle against horrible teams. They better get it together before league play. :)

Poor day for the AAC today. ECU lost to Hawaii, UCF got blown out by Davidson...Tulsa vs Ok State still to come.

BTW, Huggs kids scored 103 points tonight (albeit against VMI who plays a ridiculously fast tempo)...
