My guess, is who ever hit this bouncer learned it from watching Yancy. The best way to hit someone, is when they aren't even looking at you, like they apparently did in this bouncer case. Maybe someone at UC is teaching them this blindside technique?
What's interesting here is, everyone was saying it was Xavier that was the thugs, even though Xavier has not had any issues with fighting after that incident. While it's possible UC players are going to be charged with assault.
Xavier got the perception because people made their own judgements on the events.
No one cares about this around the country. No one at all. Hell no one in Cincy is talking about it on the radio or in the papers.
You can make fun of Yancy all you want but Dez blindsided Guyn with a shove. Yancy threw punches in a brawl where many others were.
Yancy was wrong for doing it. No doubt and he was punished for it.
If a UC player blindsided a bouncer for asking him to move from a booth I would expect punishment and bad PR which would be well deserved. I am not looking to make mistakes. I just think it takes more than what they have right now.
