Bearcat players accused in nightclub altercation

Yea, the guy that was identified is Kenny Frease! LOL!

This entire incident, in my opinion, is a farce. When the only media outlet covering it, Channel 19, is the lowest rated news cast station, and May just happens to be sweeps month when advertising rates get set, it certainly appears that this is a ratings grab trying to make a story out of something that is not a story.

700 wlw is, so is CBS sports. Not sure if you missed that or not, just thought I'd let you know.

You get that with any pay site. They get pressure to provide inside news. BCL had a huge story that many sites ran with about UC getting into the Big 12. They are throw stuff and hope it sticks.

It was amazing how often sites like BCT and BCN beat BCL to the punch on breaking recruiting news.

Only thing they are good for are interviews with recruits (which I do not care for) and practice updates.

This is false. I follow both sites. The knowledge of what goes on in recruiting is significantly better over at BCL. Chad sometimes has stuff he holds onto out of respect for his sources, but overall the info over there is better than over here.

I respect Jeff and appreciate the info he gets and passes along. This site is a great resource. But your assessment is wrong.

Yeah, and they all say FOX 19 is reporting...

I'm sure you just missed that, oversight.

He said nothing about "reporting" he said "covering." I'm sure you missed that in Ralph's post, though.

So, of course CBS and 700 WLW are covering this, dumb to think they aren't.

What I'm really wondering, is how much trash talk this guy talked to the UC players, because like in the past, UC fans are okay with UC players getting into a fight because someone talked some trash.

I would agree with you if they were to actually not have the exact same information fox19 already reported. Whether you call it "covering" or "reporting", doesn't matter. They are just covering and fox19 reports.

So, they are covering it, and Ralph who said they weren't was wrong? And when I called him out you said it was a stupid thing to say?

LOL. It really is too bad UC isn't as good as Xavier at simply not letting the off the court stuff get out into public.

Xavier started the physical fight when Tu slapped Guyn and Dez shoved Guyn.

Yancy ended the fight.

Nothing to do with talking trash. You must be thinking about Vandy.

Or Purdue.

Or Butler...

Or Dayton?

Yancy ended the fight.

My guess, is who ever hit this bouncer learned it from watching Yancy. The best way to hit someone, is when they aren't even looking at you, like they apparently did in this bouncer case. Maybe someone at UC is teaching them this blindside technique?

What's interesting here is, everyone was saying it was Xavier that was the thugs, even though Xavier has not had any issues with fighting after that incident. While it's possible UC players are going to be charged with assault.

Ralph and great are right. Nothing happened. It's just a yokel kid wanting attention.

This is the duke lacrosse thing all over again.

I never said nothing happened. In fact, I think something did happened. I just question if they have enough evidence for it to turn into some more than a week of bad PR.

How the hell does a bar in this day and age not have video cameras? Especially now that you can carry a gun in a bar. This all would be cleared up by now, if that bar had cameras.

Gr81 I'll never figure out why you let this clown stay on here, regardless of ties. He's an absolute joke.
