Bearcatnews.com is becoming...

BearcatTalk

Help Support BearcatTalk:

I like the admin and the mods over there, and they also have some real good posters. Frankly, it's up to the veteran members as much as the moderators to keep a site in shape. That doesn't mean trying to own the board, but newbies should always be respectful, here or at the workplace.

Wait-Great1 did they delete a post of yours because they know your a poster over here?! Or was there good cause for it?--Im going to make a user named "Bearcattalk.com". think Ill get banned for it?? haha

I have always told new members (at GoldHelmet for example ) to look around, read the different forums, get a feel for a place before jumping right in. it doesn't do the poster or the site any good if a newbie starts to piss off people because he or she doesn't understand the place.

He posted this exact same thread starter over there. It was deleted probably because it "denigrated" the site, not because he posts over here.

I added some stuff to my post and took out some. Basically the same thing about my concern of that site starting to go down hill fast.

I think it is getting too big for its own good.

Mostly because I'm bored at work, I can't help but continue checking that site. And I can't help but respond because so many posters are so ignorant. It's like quitting smoking for me.

I check it throughout the day it is like crack. I go back, but don't really want to......

I get vindication when I put someone on blast, but I get 5-6 responses bashing my position within 5 minutes.

I need help....

Bearcat News is ok, this place is better. Recruiting news is current and I don't have to visit 20 sites to get most UC news. Moderaters do great work too here, IMO

This is also a much happier place than BCN. Most see the glass as half full and not all the way empty.

I didn't even know about this site until Thegreatone mentioned it on BCN.

Five minutes here and I signed up immediately. Looking forward to some relevant and meaningful discussions here.

Although I'll admit that it can be fun getting some of the haters riled up over there.

Keep it up!

I don't post much on any sites, but between here and Bearcatbanter, I think I've found the top two UC related sites on the web as far as quality (and most importantly, free) information.

BCN was alright for awhile, but the random thread closings/post deletions were getting to be a bit much. Hope to see a lot more traffic over here!

Like I said earlier, the guys at BCN do a good job. It's just not for everyone, but more importantly, there's plenty of room for two quality FREE UC sites.

I encourage those that are viewing this forum and thread to post regularly.

The more members sharing information, the more knowledge we all will share.

Besides............I can only post soooo much. :)
