Bearcats vs Tigress

Tuberville didn't make this schedule, you know. When the schedule was made, Illinois was decent and we had OSU scheduled. Can't control the schedule when you are a new coach, and you will have a few bad games when you are trying to get the players to adjust. They are playing much better right now and should finish the year out strong. You aren't a true fan if you only root for undefeated Brian Kelly UC teams. This team is solid and they had 2 bad games, so what.

I don't see UC beating Rutgers, Houston or Louisville. SMU is probably a W. That means a 7-5 record with one of the worst schedules in America.

Cannot really complain though, we got a retread that was on his way out at TTech and our brilliant AD hired him over the phone without an interview. His OC opted not to watch film of last years team and we wonder why it took them 5 games to realize this isn't a power running team...HAHAHA.

Can't wait til Saturday though...

We will win 2 out of those 3.

The schedule is what it is. I don't get the constant harping on things that can't be changed. What do you want them to do...improve the schedule on the fly? Maybe the SEC will invite us to join and finish out the season with them.

I think the biggest joke is that unfortunatley Cincy has an inordinantly large portion of pessimistic over-reacting fan base. A lot of drama queens and toddler tantrums in both BB and FB. It's a shame that our players and recruits have to endure it...unless of course we are having a spectacular year...and even then...many of our fans will find something negative to point out.

Waah Waah cry about it some more. I always hear that Cincinnati is a pro sports town, if so, why can't the Reds or Bengals draw good crowds? HAHAHA

I don't think you realize how bad the teams that they've played are. Rutgers, Houston and Louisville are so much better than the teams they've played...and they lost 2. HAHAHA.

Teams with new coaches generally tend to progress as they learn the new systems and playbooks, FYI.

Coming from Negative Nelly himself. You would probably find something to complain about if we went undefeated in basketball and football and won both championships.

What you fail to realize is that Cincinnati is very small compared to almost all sports cites. If you do the math: in baseball, the Reds have the 2nd highest percent of the population go to the games and they also have one of the best radio networks along with a top 3 TV ratings. The same logic can be applied with the Bengals, if Cincinnati had the population of a let's say Seattle, I could guarantee every game would be sold out with ease along with lots of season ticket holders. It's also kind of understandable since the Bengals don't have the best franchise and a lot of people are just fed up with not winning a playoff game in 20 years. Anyway, that's just the way I feel.

Stick to posting on the basketball threads; your opinions actually have some value there.
