Well done Bengals in helping us out. Some may still complain about parking and concession sales, but this is something they really didn't have to do. This could presumably save us 7 figures.

No doubt this is a nice gesture by the Bengals. The county gets 50% and unless they waive that (which I doubt) the Bearcats will still be schilling out a nice chunk of change. That said, this gesture will allow UC to make money (presumably) and the Bengals are also looking into what they can do to allow UC to sell merchandise without taking a cut. In years past, the Bengals would have stuck it to UC. I think the partnership with UC letting the Bengals use the indoor facility has really helped the relationship and is going to pay dividends in 2014.

Didn't the Bengals have to use Nippert back in 68 and 69 while riverfront was being built. i wonder how UC treated the bengals then.

UC was very happy to have the Bengals in 68 & 69, and treated them extremely well as UC treats the Bengals well today, allowing them to use the bubble. The Bengal's games were the only games Nippert was full for back in 68 & 69. Back then Nippert was a grass field, unfortunately the grass was gone by mid-October and the dirt had to be painted green by season's end.

Hard Knocks is awesome!

Yup, I liked the first one especially, James Harrison is something else. Gotta feel for Larry Black, it's tough to be an undrafted free agent fighting for a roster spot and have an injury like that. Zimmer is hilarious. For those that don't have HBO like me, YouTube has both episodes available. If you are a Bengals Fan, it is fun to see.
