Network deal to pay additional money to existing members is all but dead. It would give Big 10 and SEC more bargaining in the future if they make that deal.

WV and OSU (among others I'm sure) pushing UC

It might be hard to do only 2 schools because there are more than 2 voting factions (horse trading) in the Big 12.

Decisions won't be based on who will take the least money or offer the most.

Boren would like to get a deal done sooner than later due to not wanting this to stall out

Just to clarify the first point, he is referring to the current 10 members getting a payout not to expand. That won't happen because you would have the SEC and B1G standing there with their hands out. That idea is dead so the only way to make more money is to expand. Expansion will happen folks. UC/BYU/UCONN/UH. Those will be your 4. Might be 2 in 2017 and 2 in 2018. If that happens UC would happen in the first group. If all 4 at same time, expect it to happen for 2017 football season.

We've all heard there isn't a team with eight votes. They are no longer voting in individual teams, rather voting on slates or groupings to see if one can get eight votes. This is the horse trading from previous posts. I'll vote for Uxyz if you vote for Uabc then they can both get in.

I don't think that'll work either, so it's now slates with groups of four.
