We are behind 6 teams according to Lunardi. That puts us in the "Next 4 out" section.

A win verse a struggling Nova team would probably put us right on the edge of in or out.

Plain and simple. We need to find a way to beat a Top 15 team at home on senior night.

BIG CROWD would be nice.

I think we need to win 3 games the rest of the way. Whether that is one in the regular season and two in te BE tournament or vice versa, but i dont see how we get in with less than 19 wins. If we only win 2 more that will make us 18 and something (depending on if we lose in the reg season and/or tourny) and I dont think that will be enough considering our RPI and lack of a good record against the RPI top 50

Our RPI verse the Top 50 is acutally decent. Our record verse the Top 100 isnt great.

I agree we need 3 wins. I think winning the last two and 1 Big East would put us in and is the only way I feel comfortable.

We go 9-9 in the BE I think we are in. Win our first game in the tourney it would seal the deal. We would have quite an impressive resume if we can somehow, someway pull off two upsets against nova and gtown.

Wins against--Vandy, Maryland, Uconn (2), ND, SF,Nova,Gtown

Not sure how you could keep that out of the tournament. Considering we have NO bad losses either. That is wishful thinking but would be an impressive resume.

Yea, I guess it all depends on our seed in the tourney. We can't lose to a gimmie in the BE tourney butttt we cant count on that win to propel us to the tourney either.

This just means we need to play our best basketball of the year the next to games and take care of business. I refuse to think we are out of this. I am actually happy with the way we have been playing even if we haven't won those games. Staying competitive with the top teams in the BE is a very good thing for this team. If not for this year def for the future.

Very interesting peice for the ESPN insiders out there. Basically saying UC is the wild card in getting the Big East a record 9 teams in the tournament.

They basically said if we can win the next 2 games we would have a great shot at the tournament regardless of what happens in the Big East Tourny.

They also predicted our chances of going to the Big Dance at 25% right now.
