Anyone have any details?

I browse twitter just to follow chad, a few others... but ran across this.

"CashmereUC1 Goin in to have surgury in the morning....."

If the 4-5 weeks prognosis is true (and I don't know that it is) then I can tell you this is simply an arthroscopic procedure more than likely to clean out some scar tissue around the knee. If this happens to be the case, then there is nothing to worry about. If it is reconstructive in any way, then it is time for concern (and it would be more like 4-5 months not weeks).

This is why Mick wants Ge-lawn for the 2010 season. From what I heard the 4-5 weeks is true barring finding something more once they are in there. They need insurance against the loss of Cash. That is why they looked so hard in the spring for a pg/combo player.

Maybe I am speaking too optimistically but I cannot imagine the surgery can be anything more than just a cleanup because there is no way Cash would be dribbling and shooting around at the Deveroes league if something was really wrong. Cash is a competitor and has said that it killed him not being able to play his freshman year. So I doubt he would risk losing more time.

Yeah, he was walking around with no limp and doing simple back and forth dribbling moves with no visible limp. Granted he wasn't running or cutting, but he was taking jump shots off of it -- in open slippers. My guess is it's just minor, precautionary surgery to clean up some stuff and isn't something that's necessary. Hopefully, at least.
