think anybody have guts to bring up Martin situation? Something weird bout to go down if holding press conference.

Nothing weird is going on. They are going to announce 1 of 3 things.

1. Crosstown Shootout (or Classic if you prefer) will continue at US Bank
2. Crosstown Shootout will continue on campus and thus at 5/3 this year
3. Crosstown Shootout is canceled for this year and perhaps some time in the future.

That's it. There is no wacky conspiracy theory in this. Very simple.

Everyone and their mom on Twitter is confirming that it's going back to campus. Joe Danneman of FOX 19 is saying it's an 8-year deal.

EDIT: Also, since this last year's game was a "home game" for Xavier, that would mean this upcoming season's game will be at FTA.

You almost have to remove option 3 since the press conference is at Skyline. It would hard to imagine the sponsor of the event would host a press conference to say the game isn't happening or is going on hiatus.

I hope it's cancelled... Good riddance, Norwood Community College.

How can you hope it's cancelled? It makes us look like sore losers since we haven't had a lot of success against them the last 15 years. And don't say we're LIGHT YEARS better than them program-wise, you'll just sound like an arrogant OSU fan. We are not too good to play them. They are a quality opponent, something we need plenty of in this conference.

Game is moving back into the conference season like Mick wanted...

#bearcats The UC-XU game will move back to campus as part of a 10-year agreement and will be played next year on Feb. 18 at UC. @ENQSports

I think it was a good idea to move to US Bank for two years for two reasons. One, it helps the rivalry simmer down a little after it got out of hand and two, it was a nice experiment to see if the atmosphere was better on-campus or at US Bank. I personally like it on-campus more.

Either way, an irrelevant "college". Waste of our time... why give them the publicity? Just ignore them like the gnat on the ass of humanity that they are.

I liked it at US Bank. Too bad. I remember Mick publicly stating over and over he didn't want to go back to Cintas.

He was dead serious about that. That this was done over his objection may cause him to take a longer look the next time suitors come calling.
