Thought I'd open this thread for all things podcasting. Anything people have heard on a podcast, posting podcasts, posting interviews, etc. Put it all in here.

Just found out about The Skinny Podcast when Justin posted about it earlier in the week. Good podcast for a more regional-based angle on college hoops. I listen to less national college basketball podcasts, than college football. I think maybe it's bc I'm so used to UC not being covered in football, but want to hear as much as I can basketball-wise bc we have more relevance.

Yea I also love that the skinny college basketball podcast is done twice a week. Basically I now have enough college podcasts to listen to to fill my entire commute both ways each week.

This may be a good place to list all the college basketball podcasts you listen too. I don't know of many and am curious if I'm missing out on some good ones. Jacob? Justin?

Here are mine ( in no order)
1. The skinny podcast college basketball edition (new episodes mon and thurs)
2. College hoops today with Jon rothstein (every Monday generally)
3. CBS sports eye on college basketball
4. College basketball talk (NBC)
5. Court side with katz and coach G (espn)
6. Game theory podcast with Sam vecenie
7. Storm the court podcast
8. Marching to madness
9. The sideline with Evan Daniels
10. The bearcat Journal (paid)
11. 2.1 Seconds to Madness
12. College basketball Madness (USA Today but haven't posted in a while)

I also listen to a few podcasts because I'm just a basketball junkie. Some not so good and some from our rivals (don't judge). Those are:

1. Dana and Victory Podcast (Xavier podcast and I grit my teeth hearing those arrogant B holes but i'd rather hear what they say than not)
2. Bearcats BlogCast (These guys are mostly football fans, but they talk basketball, mostly just trashing Kevin Johnson and Cronin's offense, very annoying to listen to but sometimes I need to fill the airwaves)
3. Lets talk Bearcats Basketball ( obviously new to the podcasting game but I give them a listen when im bored)
4. The Seth Davis Podcast (usually just interviews but sometimes its not even sports related)
5. College Pride Press Podcast (mostly high school and college kids who cover basketball, obviously amateurs but again, sometimes I need to fill dead air)

Its pretty obvious I love podcasts. I'm an IT guy who got into tech podcasts first but now I've enough College basketball ones to fill my time.

Best iOS podcasting app (I've tried them all): OverCast

I listen to most of the College Basketball ones that Justin listed. I'm not huge into any of them though and I don't listen to every episode. I listen to way more gambling (not guys selling picks, just sports talk with a Vegas angle) and College Football podcasts. I use Podcast Addict bc I'm just so used to it. I also listen to all podcasts at 2.0x speed. Sounds fast at first but you get used to it and can listen to twice as many.

I can list some I listen to if you want any that aren't strictly College Bball.

Yea for me its Tech podcasts and Basketball. my Wife listens to murder/mystery podcasts and stuff like that but i keep it to those 2 things.

Smart speed is amazing (very similar to 2x but more analytical of the frequency to speed up and down depending on the situation).

I'm a bearcats fan first and foremost, but I generally never get half into anything, so Im either obsessed or not interested. Not interested is my feeling on UC Football, but hopefully fickell can give me something to get excited about

Thanks for the lists guys. I just started listening to the Skinny Podcast and listen to the Hoops HD Under the Radar Podcast (they cover the traditional 1 bid leagues) for college ball. I have a hard time listening to college basketball podcasts because I get annoyed at all the stuff they get wrong or miss entirely. I got into some murder/mystery podcasts a while ago (like Serial) but haven't been into them recently. I like the Lowe Post for NBA coverage since I don't follow the league as closely as I once did. I still check in on the Bill Simmons ones occasionally.

I also really love JJ redicks the vertical podcast.

Dude Is a natural podcaster but only does it in the offseason. Really cool to get an NBA players perspective and he has good guests mostly

Yeah I like The Lowe Post and all 3 of The Vertical podcasts. They really do get good guests. Awesome to hear current NBA players and Front Office execs. Dunc'd On is another decent NBA one, though it's a little exhausting. Nate Duncan just geeks out for over an hour everyday on everything.

Another college basketball one is the Ringer University. I don't like it very much bc I feel like the hosts have no idea what they're talking about most of the time. But on a slow podcast day, I may listen.

Some other random sports ones:

Pregame.com First Preview. Daily talk with a Vegas slant. They also have "Dream Pods" that come out once a week for College Football and NFL. I don't use it to make my picks but there's just good info and conversation and things to consider about each game.

Make Me Smarter Football with Nick Wright and Michael Lombardi: Nick Wright can be kind of annoying but this podcast is once per week and under a half hour. Basically picks 3 topics that the mainstream media is getting wrong about the NFL.

Russillo & Kanell: They have a best of podcast that is usually about 40 minutes.

Pro Football Focus: They have several podcasts that are good, including a college football one.

Behind the Bets: Not the best. Fallica and Stanford Steve said they might veer into College Hoops. Would be good for the convo but I don't typically like their angles for betting.

Even Money: Ross Tucker and Steve Fezzik do NFL picks against the spread. Steve Fezzik is on the NFL Dream Pod and is on Pregame.com First Preview I think twice per week.

College Draft and First Draft: College Draft is Ross Tucker and Fran something. It's college football prospects. It's OK. First Draft with Mel Kiper and McShay is way better but it comes out less often.

College Football Live does a podcast.

The Starters are fun NBA stuff. Gets a little old but is OK if you're in the mood.

Championship Drive College Football is ESPN. I like it most of the time.

SEC aOn CBS is SEC football and also does national picks and stuff. Kind of just a fun podcast, I don't think these guys make very sharp picks.

Phil Steele is college football picks.

Locked On has a daily podcast for every NBA and NFL team. Depends on the hosts if it's any good or not. James Rapien does the Bengals one.

One OT non-sports one I like is In Our Time. They pick a theme/person/event from throughout civilized history to dig into.

The last few months I've been commuting around 10 am and have started listening to Dan Lebatard on ESPN Radio. It is hysterical. I've started listening to that podcast when I drive all the time now.

By far the best show on sports talk radio. Not even close...

This is about to get even weirder because we agree. YOU GET THE SHOW!!! Thank little baby Jesus for the Dan LeBatard show and Stugotz too. Listen to them everyday in the truck and their local hour podcast on my way home. The shipping container filled with frightened refugees is the single best production crew going and Stugotz is a national treasure.

Side Note: What if Gronk was black?
