A conference championship game is not needed to get into the 4 team playoff, if it was how could ND ever get in?

No school currently in the ACC will leave the ACC to join the Big 12.

The other 4 BCS conferences all will have CCGs, and the rankings determine the 4 teams that make the playoff. Therefore, schools in the SEC, Big 10, pac 12 and ACC playing in that game will have a better chance to earn win #12 or 13. In our current landscape, I think its safe to say the SEC will get 2 of those 4 spots most years. This leaves room for 2 from the other 4 conferences, and a CCG is a way to further distinguish success.

An undefeated team going into the CCG can lose. That is why Texas and the Big 12 do not want a CCG. Texas, who owns the Big 12, wins on this one.

You are delusional if you are convinced the Big 12 will remain at 10.

You have to be delusional to think 10 teams that are taking home $25 million each are going to add 2 teams so they can now take home $20.83 million each.

There are no teams available to the Big 12 that will raise the value of the TV contract from $250 million per year to $300 million per year.

FSU(Speaks for itself)
ND(Long shot but you asked for teams)
GT(Atlanta Market)
VT(DC Market)
Miami(South Florida Market)
Clemson
NC State(Raleigh/Durham)
UNC

That's 8 off the top of my head that would dramatically change the revenue stream for the B12. The conference championship game, they are told, will bring even more...Just like it has for the SEC, Pac 12, and B1G

Not one of the schools that you listed has any interest in joining the Big 12.

In my post I stated no school AVAILABLE to the Big 12. None of the schools that you listed are available to the Big 12.

Schools available to the Big 12 are Houston, SMU, Tulane, UC, UConn, Rice, Tulsa, Boise, Colorado State. None of these schools moves the TV contract $25 million.

.

Alright. Keep thinking that.

The ACC is in no way stable at all right now.

Ralph, you are wrong. The big 12 is Vulnerable, and maintaining the status quo will result in destruction.

A 12-0 undefeated big 12 team in a 10 team conference is less appealing than a 12-1 SEC team. Not to mention, without divisions there will rarely be undefeated teams in the big 12.

Florida and FSU were both 10-1 when they faced each other on Nov. 24th. One team was ranked 4th in the BCS and right in the mix. The other was ranked 10th and was completely out of the race. The mediocrity of the ACC is killing FSU's chances for a national championship. They can't get out of there fast enough. The B12 is a perfect landing spot once the next round of moves start.

A 12-0 ND team was ranked number 1 and played in the NC game. Same will happen with a 12-0 Big 12 team, will get one of the 4 playoff spots with no problem. No need to take a chance by having them lose in a CCG.

Commish of Big 12 Bowlsby and Texas AD Dodds are 100% against a CCG so it is not happening. All 10 schools are deadset against adding teams that will cause the current 10 to make less money. Big 12 expansion is not happening anytime soon.

LUCK:

"There is additional movement to come in conference realignment. We can't allow what happened to the Big East happen to the Big 12 as far as only having 10 teams. We're happy where we are right now but nobody believes conference realignment is over. But, it is important for us to have eastern partners in the conference."

BOWLSBY:

"We feel very good about where we are. Beyond that, we'd be unwise to be oblivious to all that is going on around us. We need to be constantly vigilant. I think in coming out of these meetings we're prepared very well for that vigilance".

I still believe the Big 12 is waiting for the Big Ten to make the next move. The Columbus Dispatch reported that Ohio State President Gee made clear in a statement to the Buckeye Athletic Council that more expansion is coming.

Correct. I stated this pages ago. Ralph is just disagreeing to disagree

Nope, the Big 12 has 10 members, I am the only one correct at the present time.

No one the Big 12 wants, wants them. No school will leave the ACC to join the Big 12.

You are already backtracking. Just a few days ago you said "no one will leave the ACC". Now you are saying "No school will leave the acc to join the b12"
Covering all your bases!!
