Conference realignment stuff

The Dude of WV is usually clueless, same with Greg Swaim. They're just guessing. Although I have no doubt something will happen in the next couple months in regards to realignment, I'm not going to listen to any of it until I hear something official.

That's fine. But This is the Texas Rivals guy Chip Brown saying realignment is coming also

The Commissioner of the Big 12 was on Dallas radio this morning, this is what he said:

Bowlsby says "We are happy at 10 teams"

Bowlsby says "I don't think we want a post season championship game"

Bowlsby says "Expansion would dilute the revenue. "

Well.........................! as always the Ralph is correct and Bearcat Mick is wrong just like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west you can make book on it.

You are dead wrong and you know it mr "the big east bball schools will never leave"

1) You do not believe in your own predictions

2) where in my post does it state the Big 12 is expanding? I posted they are having a meeting, I never stated they were going to expand, they have an expansion committee meeting every 3 to 6 months mostly to drink coffee and eat donuts

3) you were wong again on SMU and Houston, both are staying in the Big East, the 2013 Big East Football schedule was released on Friday

Once again Ralph you are horrifically wrong when it comes to conference realignment. The Big 12 leaders enjoy a great spread that includes make your own waffles, an omelet station and even some french pastries. No where on the menu are donuts.

Ralph has been and always will be wrong on everything conference realignment related

You sir are the one who is very very wrong on conference realignment. Your most recent prediction of Houston and SMU to the MWC was a total fail.

The Commissioner of the Big12 went on Dallas radio this week and collaborated everything I have stated about Big 12 expansion, "we are happy at 10", "the league members do not want a CCG", the league members like splitting the revenue 10 ways instead of 12".

The Big 12 Commish blew you out of the water.

Everyone who reads this board knows the Ralph is the king of conference realignment and that you know nothing.

All also know that you do not believe in your own predictions, UC vs Syracuse on Monday.

Fsu will be invited to the b12 after the meetings according to numerous reports today.... Sorry Ralph keep trying

FSU will not leave the ACC for the Big 12, never, ever, going to happen.

You have failed again.

The Big 12 "meetings" are nothing more than philosophical discussions. The philosophy is "$300 million splits a lot better 10 ways than 12 ways".

Once again you have failed, but what else should be expected from someone who does not believe in their own predictions, UC vs Syracuse.

PS: The Dude of WV is not a reliable source

reporter chip brown just confirmed fsu will be invited after the meetings. On his radio show

Again, nice try Ralph

Is this what you have been referring to?

Listen today's show at http://bit.ly/TM1Fsy now by clicking "Listen Live" or download the podcast. Great interviews and realignment talk.

I haven't listened to it yet.

Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a philosophical meeting. Also, even if they would invite Florida State, Florida State would decline the invitation, therefore, the Big 12 remains at 10.

PS Chip Brown is not a reporter, he is an internet blogger. His radio show is not a broadcast radio show, it is an internet only "radio show". If it can only be heard on the internet and not over the airways that disqualifies it from being a radio show.

You have so much to learn about conference realignment, you really should sign up for my conference realignment 101 course.

Chip brown writes for Texas rivals and is a reporter. He has contacts all over the big12

By the way, you are getting hammered on twitter by thedudeofwv and gregswaim and about 5 others for how wrong you are. Your comments on there are just outrageous

Ralph you are way off base here

ACC funeral march approaches

http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/con...-council-big-ten-expansion-talks-ongoing.html

Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee told the school’s Athletic Council in December that discussions about further expansion for the Big Ten conference are “ongoing.”

In November, the league announced the addition of Maryland from the Atlantic Coast Conference and Rutgers from the Big East. Nebraska joined the Big Ten for the 2011-12 school year after leaving the Big 12.

It doesn’t appear that the Big Ten is necessarily content to stay at 14 members. According to the minutes of the Dec. 5 Athletic Council meeting obtained by the Dispatch, Gee said “there has been ongoing discussion” about expansion and “believes there is movement towards three or four super conferences that are made up of 16-20 teams.”

When a student member of the Athletic Council asked Gee what direction the Big Ten might take, Gee said “there are opportunities to move further south in the (E)ast and possibly a couple of Midwest universities.”

He did not specify any potential targets but said they will make sure any new school has “like-minded academic integrity.”

Rivals is a website that sells $100 a year subscriptions. The indivdual owners of those websites will say and do about anything to entice people into buying $100 a year subscriptions, they have a vested interest in doing so. As PT Barnum said "there is a sucker born every minute"

Thank you for letting us know your sources, thedudeofwv, gregswain, LOL! Now we all know why you know nothing about conference realignment.

You very much need to sign up for my Conference Realignment 101 course.

Like minded academic integrity huh? They should try athletic integrity sometime.

The Big 10 is very much about like minded academic integrity. The Big 10 will not invite a school unless the school is a member of the prestigious American Association of Universities.

This is not true. Nebraska was an AAU member but before it was scheduled to join the Big 10, they lost their status as an AAU member. The Big 10 still admitted them. It is important to the Big 10 for sure but it is not critical. They have invited ND at least twice and they are not part of the AAU.

It is true, when Nebraska was INVITED they were an AAU member.

"The Big 10 will not INVITE"

ND has been invited. Twice. They are not a part of the AAU. Get your facts straight. Yes, Nebraska was an AAU institution when invited but they were not when they joined.
