When he talked to the media this afternoon, Mick Cronin made a point of saying that he has not given up on Cashmere Wright, even though Wright has been buried on the UC bench the past two games, having played a total of four minutes.

Cronin wasn’t asked about Wright, but he talked about him anyway. He also attempted to dampen expectations for Parker.

“The sky’s not falling in for him,” Cronin said. “He’s a freshman. He’s had some good times and some tough times, but he’s young. He’s got talent. He knows Jaquon Parker was playing well. I don’t want everybody thinking that Jaquon Parker has to play every night like he’s a first-team All-American like he did the other night.”
