Thats not my problem...

Screwing over season ticket holders is an absurd idea. UC athletic department should be ashamed.

I agree that season ticket holders should've had more incentive than the first opportunity to buy tickets. I don't know what the answer would be exactly. The price of tickets was high for the game. But honestly when you buy season tickets you pay face value for the seasts for every game, so if it were at home UC could have still made the seats that cost and everyone's ticket would've been that much higher. When the football games were moved to PBS we paid a higher amount to buy those seats.

And this way us season ticket holders will get to attend the game every year if we so choose instead of every other year.

Quit whining.

Get a clue...

It has nothing to do with whining. Its about principle. The people who are most likely to donate to UC are season ticket holders. Whether that be company seats or individual seats... Season ticket holders should be valued and not screwed over.

The simple fact of the matter is this, UC fans didnt cause the move... So why should they have to burden the extra cost?

Do you want some cheese with your wine?

This is a game I expect UC to win. I think it will be a game much like today against Marshall. Xavier will fight and battle like nobody else we've played and they had time off to concentrate solely on UC. I do not take the game lightly, history tells us not too, but again I fully expect UC to win and it won't surprise me if it's big.

"The past is the past," Kilpatrick said. "It will be a great game."

Added Wright: "This game is what we make it. We not looking at this game like it's a rivalry. We're looking at it like it's a game in the way of our national championship where we're trying to go."

If we play the way we played in the 2nd half today, we will coast.

Over/under for this game 50 fouls?

This will be a scrappy game and a close game simply because the refs will not allow this game to ever find a rhythm. Players will be in foul trouble and be playing tense. Expect a lot of turnovers and a lot of free throws on both sides. The team that is deeper and less likely to get flustered should win or if one team simply gets hot shooting jump shots. UC needs to make sure they play good perimeter defense and they should be fine. I also think Mick could be wise to start Mbodj and Jackson on the bench for the first and second halves because whistles tend to be high the first five minutes of both halves. I honestly could see starting Cash, Killa, Parker, Sanders and Rubles to be effective against the refs. I don't know much about X, but I don't think they are big but they are quick. This line-up would not leave us undersized and it should match-up well against them anyways. Once the refs feel they have established their control, bring in the bigs and bring in Jackson for energy.

X has no chance.
85-43 uc

This will be the worst beating ever in this "rivalry". No one on x's team would even make the uc roster

I think UC should win, but let's not live in hyperboleville...This X team easily handled Butler (who just knocked off Indiana). That said, they lost to a very mediochre Vanderbilt team (Oregon stomped Vandy), and Pacific??. Most of their wins are against weaker competition and have still been close. UC should win by double figures, but given the past history of this game, I doubt they win by 42....nice fantasy though.

I think the Cats will take it, 74-63

Not one player Butler has could make Indiana's roster.

LOL. Good one Ralph. One of your few.

I agree with David. I see the refs being whistle happy which could hurt UC far more than Xavier because of slowing down the tempo of the game. On the other hand, if Xavier racks up a bunch of fouls, they don't have UC's depth to deal with it.

Barring a beatdown from Xavier, if UC loses, I'll chalk it up to luck and an off game and move on. I only want to beat Xavier so I don't have to listen to their fans who live in fantasyland. Other than that, it's just another game to me. Like a gnat flying around my head that I want to squash. That's how I feel about Xavier. They simply annoy me.

Plus, Xavier conveniently allowed 15 days to prepare for this game. What's up with that?

Xavier will play hard because it's a rivalry but they don't have the size, depth, and athleticism the bearcats have. I think mick will have them well prepared!

Here goes my prediction-70-58 UC. On a bad day, we win by 5, on a great day, 20 (sorta like 2 years ago).

I think 72-58 but who knows with this game. It may be 1 point, and we have been upset by them numerous times before. Anyone else notice that every BEast team is over .500?

Yes I did. Couple that with our OOC and rpi could be one of our strengths come March.

66-43 UC wins! I think this is more than a realistic prediction. Honestly, there is no reason why UC doesn't hold X under 50 points. X's offense is dismal and our defense is that good. X does play pretty good defense so i think us scoring in the 60's is reasonable. It just depends with how much grabbing X will get away with will be a strong factor. While they play good D, all the games I've watched of theirs have been home games and they get away with a lot of stuff.

As long as our players look at X just another team on their schedule and stay away of X's bullsh!t they will try to lure us in on the court we will be money. You know Mack has prepped his boys for 15 days to get away with all kinds of sh!t, like running their mouths, grabbing, throwing bows etc.

Lastly, I personally hope, after we rape them on the court, UC players and Cronin give no credit to X whatsoever. They never have anything positive to say about us so I hope we do that same. It will kind of be like when UC beat UCONN and the 'Cuse and their coaches say they lost because their team didnt play good, not because UC was good.
