You do realize he was a 5* recruit and the #2 PG in his class?

Christon will not be the most talented player we've faced. I'm not saying he's a bad player. In a couple years he might be the most talented player UC faces, but not this year. You have to remember he's still a freshman.

If you want to go by rankings like you did, Trevor Lacey, Levi Randolph, and Devonta Pollard are all better than Semaj cause they were ranked higher, and that's just one team we played.

I would take Lacey and Releford (Bama), Tyrus McGee (Iowa State), Darren White (Campbell), D.D Scarver and DeAndre Kane (Marshall - even though we didn't face Kane) and Oregon has about 3 players just as talented.

I would probably take Christon for the rest of his career, but UC has faced better individual players so far.

Lacy and Randolph were both 4*. Pollard was ranked a spot below Semaj and is averaging 6 points/game. This is based on Scout.com's final rankings. Also, how good can Alabama be if they got blown out by Dayton?

Man, you know it's gonna be a close game because Bearcat Mick's numbers keep getting closer and closer. He said 85-43 and now it's 30. He is getting closer to being in touch with reality every day.
I meant to add a + after 30. 30+. This will be total destruction. X fans will cry and it will cause their university to tremble. This massacre will be on national tv. I hope the catholic bball schools tune in to witness what a horrible program eggsavior truly is

I have seen X play 3 times and Semaj is a good player who will be real good. The difference when playing UC is you play a rotation of guards who are as quick as you, strong and athletic, several deep. This game will be dictated by tempo. Cincinnati needs to impose it's style on X and not allow them to slow the game as Alabama did. Xavier will be prepared after the layoff and are typically fairly disciplined within their system. Davis and Christon both will turn the ball over. Davis at 2.9 tpg and Christon at 3.5. They have 4 players averaging over 30 minutes a game. UC needs to break early and often to press their depth avantage.

Defensively Xavier shoots over 38% from 3 and shoot 72% from the ft line as a team. Obviously, you don't give open looks or send them to the line. If the Bearcats play pressure D and uptempo offense I see a quick start by UC and another burst midway thru the 2nd half and a very comfortable Bearcat win. If X slows the game down I see a game much like the Alabama game.

Either way I think UC wins. Something tells me they are going to be jacked for this game. This will be an upset if Xavier wins, but we have seen that story before. The nature of this game makes it impossible to predict.

Couldn't someone ask about how good can Xavier be since they lost to Pacific and Vandy?

Semaj has a ton of talent and could be great for xavier. I agree with an earlier post that he might not be around for long if he has a NBA chance.

Since we're talking about young players with lots of upside. Shaq Thomas has shown signs that he could be a special player over the next couple of years. Also the way we talk about Parker, Cash, and Kilpatrick being being so tough, might be the way we describe incoming recruits of Caupain, Johnson, and Morman one day.

It's actually quite easy to predict. Eggs is young, woefully undersized, not very athletic, not deep, has trouble scoring, is inexperienced, cant rebound, and lost to pacific. Nku would beat them this year. Uc by 30-40

Bama would beat the sh!t out of eggs. Period. Get out of here with your pointless unintelligent biased remarks. Typical muskiqueer comments.

Use the same strategy as we did in the 2010-2011 season, make someone beat you other than the point guard.

Can't say I'm a fan of Cahill, but I think Higgins is retiring.

As an XU fan, I think UC wins, but Semaj Christon will be the most talented player UC has faced this year.

He's very talented, but the lack of a consistent outside shot puts him behind the Bama guards in my opinion. Had Oregon not upset UNLV this wouldn't even be a debate. Anthony Bennett is a beast!

with ESPNs tactical attacks on BEast teams, I am interested to see how many times they replay the fight tonight, but more interested to see if they show any clips other than Gates...

Bearcats 72 - Xavier 63

Go Bearcats!

Always pisses me off that Dez Wells blindside punk shot on GG isn't talked about. Without that there is no brawl.

Not to mention nobody notices that Tu started the whole damn thing. Everyone just sees Guyn going for Tu's face when Tu actually slapped him 2 seconds before that, the camera angle on TV just doesn't show it.
