UNC takes the number 1 spot. Local teams of interest

Kentucky #2
Ohio State #3
Loserville #8
Xavier #15
UC # 22

UNC is stacked. They had four players in the pre season top 50 woodon award...But, they do have Roy as coach.

Wasn't going to start a new thread since this one didn't get much attention. But, the AP poll came out.

Really, not much difference. Xavier was 14th, UC 21st

This works out PERFECTLY for Mick Cronin and UC. People are concerned that this team will get comfortable and not have a chip on their shoulder because they are now ranked and "respected." Being ranked 7 spots behind a Xavier team that UC crushed last year and with both teams bringing most of their best players back, the disrespected card can be played by Mick to the team again. This is GREAT!!!

It will be nice seeing both teams ranked in the top 25 for the crosstown. Just curious, who is UC's hardest game before that?

Xavier will play @Vandy (pre-season top 10)
Purdue @home
@Butler.

Those will be the toughest tests before the Crosstown, all of which happen to be right before the UC game (in that order) Admitedly, not sure how tough Purdue will be this season--Butler will end up a tournament team, but same goes for them.
