Russillo has an NBA podcast and was talking about the Nets and said "Your boy Sean Kilpatrick out of Cincy, get some! He's averaging 17 a game right now and playing well."

^I LOVE that kind of stuff. So happy for SK. He is a legit NBA player. And Brooklyn is actually 3-4 right now. Good stuff.

Never thought SK would be averaging double figures and Lance would be out of the league.

I'm really happy for SK. I was pretty adamant that SK would not play in the NBA because I thought he lacked the athleticism necessary. He's clearly worked very hard to disprove my theory.

I was definitely wrong about that, SK is the man.

By all accounts SK and coach have a great relationship so hopefully Mick can get SK engaged with the program on an ongoing basis. Having a smart kid like him around who can show players the value of hard work and dedication would be a huge positive.

He already does that a lot. SK came back a few times last year, of course we know K-Mart and a few others did too. I ran into Steve Logan after the UCONN win at home last year, I see Lenny Stokes about every other weekend and he is always talking with the team and talks to a lot of the players about everyday. The old Bearcats have been great about reaching out to Cronin's team.

With Lin out, he's been playing point guard. Talk about coming a long way.

And actually not looking too bad. This maybe his first NBA start, i thought all season he had been coming off the bench with Whitehead getting the start at PG while Lin is out.

His shooting is off tonight but he has been setting up lopez pretty damn good

Its actually kind of Amazing, they asked him to play point and he just came in and played point and has 4 assists so far and only took 3 shots. He is the epitome of what a hard working player is

Funny story...Roy Bright's (adopted I think) dad was my dad's Uber driver in North Carolina a couple weeks ago. I guess he has another son who is in high school and being recruited by D1 schools. Didn't get a name though.

What ever happened to him? Wasn't there supposed to be some real good shooter named Vincent Banks what ever happened to him?

Also, last night I turned the Nets game on pretty much right when it ended. The 3 guys working for ESPN when the game ended when they sit around the table said good win for the Knicks blah blah blah. Then something about Nets having some players though and said Kilpatrick and then one dude said who? who? In a sarcastic tone basically like who is this dude. I don't think it was disrespect, but just being funny as the time slot was ending and they were switching to Spurs vs Rockets. Just think it's part of who Sk is, someone that is making a name for himself.

Good player better young man. Hard not to root for him.

Looks like Morman is starting for Towson. They beat George Mason in their first game and he had 8 points in 28 minutes. Hopefully he has a good year.

SK leading the Nets again in scoring tonight. He has 27 at the end of regulation. Just had the game winning attempt rim out with 1.8 seconds left. Now going to OT.

It's pretty cool that they drew the play up specifically for SK. I know that the Nets are near the bottom of the league but it's still pretty cool.

Update - SK has 29 after a killer crossover to score the first bucket of OT.
