yeah, he's just picking a school thats more in line with where his skill level is. nothing wrong with that.

I agree 100% with that, I am happy for him and hope he has a great 2 years at GSU. I just think at times he was over matched against other teams in the American. But against lower competition I think he could be a useful starter.

Happy to see Lojo land at St. Marys. Aside from Gonzaga, St Marys is the best team in that conference, he will have to sit out this upcoming year most likely (unless granted waiver) but I would love to see Lojo in the tourney for his final two years there.

Yes, a nice city, but a first year coach and having to compete against two other big men for playing time, including the second highest rated player ever signed by the panthers, Jalen Thomas. I know some consider the Sunbelt to be mid-major, but I do not. I think the term mid-major is overused. Georgia State was good when Ron Hunter was the coach, but he's no longer there.
I'll take GA st over Tulsa, ECU, south Florida, and Tulane.

Yep, the problem with the American is the lower tier teams are not competitive. It really drags down the conference. I think S. Florida is improving, but still not a team the conference can be proud of. I have hopes for Tulane now that Hunter is their coach, but it might take a while.

I''m happy for Lojo. He should be a good fit at St. Mary's and he is back home on the west coast where he was looking to be.

From a few days ago...

Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Sean Kilpatrick is celebrating Panathinaikos' Greek League championship.

Kilpatrick's squad, coached by Rick Pitino, swept Promitheas Patras - featuring Kilpatrick's former UC teammate, Octavius Ellis - in the best-of-five Greek League Finals. It's the third consecutive Greek League title for Panathinaikos.

Good to see Jacob coming alive! He might be looking pretty decent for that backup PG role.

Golden State gets rid of Quinn Cook and now Shaun Livingston and Thompson our for the season. With the way Jacob Evans is on fire in the Summer league he might be up for some decent minutes this year. Let’s hope they don’t pick anyone else up, would love to see our guy get some real minutes this season. He’s definitely earning them at this point.
