Really? Thanks for contributing your thoughtful thoughts. NOT.Insecurities? Like caring about their season ticket holders, students, and fans? I wish UC did that.

Xavier has no one else to blame if they wanted it to be a home and home. The brawl happened in their arena, because of their players, and because of their fans.
Deal with it.

Typical eggs fan, can dish it but can't take it. If that is your idea of an attack you must be 40 years old and still sucking on your mom's teet!! You soft.By the way this may be my favorite post of the year. You attack me because you disagree with me. And you used "thoughtful thoughts" and "not". Nicely done.
Ralph and BearcatMick, is that you?

I agree, its beyond nasty. You have 9,000 hypocritical Catholics who know they are inferior. With their insecurities exposed they are scared to play at us bank. They have cheated for at least 8 years and they are crying to back home. Their worst fears came true last night and saw who they really are.I like this game on a neutral site. I know some disagree but I like the split attendance and it removes nastiness from the students. It was really ugly at Cintas the last two seasons.
That was harsh.
Is there anyone else here that thinks this series belongs on campus?
Nice post, short and to the point! There are lots of reasons but this is a biggie. ChangeKeep it at USBank. The people complaining that it's not on campus are being short sighted about it. I think it actually attracts casual fans being downtown and on top of that, if you have both sides represented fairly well, it makes for a fun atmosphere. It looked damn nice on television also.
If it is the City's game it should be played downtown in the city. More of the city's residents can attend the game downtown, 16,000 at US Bank, 13,000 at 5/3rd Arena, only 10,000 at Cintas.
Why does Xavier want to keep 6,000 city residents from attending the game? What is Xavier afraid of?

I don;t think it looked that good on TV. Looked and sounded like a far more stale environment.
If it has to be played at US Bank to keep playing the game, then do so. I just don't see why. I think it is a complete overreaction.
I wonder, how many of you would rather watch UC-UL at Paul Brown?

TBH, The 2011-2012 season, I did watch UC vs UL at PBS. The game day experience at Nippert is vastly overrated. When it's packed, getting up and moving about is a royal pain in the ass. There's barely any room for tailgating, not enough restrooms and honestly, as much as we enjoy a home field advantage at Nippert, I'd rather go to PBS, especially if it's a packed house.
I am going to print this off and save it! I agree with Ralph!!If it is the City's game it should be played downtown in the city. More of the city's residents can attend the game downtown, 16,000 at US Bank, 13,000 at 5/3rd Arena, only 10,000 at Cintas.
