I'll take the kid from Wisconsin also. Find players that fit your system on this short notice then try fit in 2-3 studs over next couple seasons. The 6'10 from Maryland mixtape more impressive than we've seen from players on our roster in years. Add this two kids with the PG and I'm good to go. Move on from Samari and Brooks ASAP!

But hey we are going after 2 star prospects while Memphis is about to have possibly the #1 class in country with RJ Hampton and Boogie Ellis likely to commit there. Again very early in the Brannen era but so far I haven't been wrong. He better do something, and quick

Also like I told those who PMed me, Samari looks like he may be following Jackson to Virginia Tech. Announced he received an offer around a minute after announcing he is reopening his commitment.

That’s a stupid move. Worst coach on UC bench.

Well enjoy playing for your friend who won’t help you get better.

That’s a little harsh. He commits to two different schools and afterwards the coach leaves. I know you commit to the school but the relationship with the coaching staff is a pretty significant part of that commitment. Best of luck wherever he ends up.

Can’t say I’m surprised by Curtis, I pretty much fully expected this. He never said anything about staying and when he asked to be left alone I knew he was gone. I guess I am not as disappointed as most because I knew this was just a matter of time. If Jarron stays in the draft things could get ugly real quick......... But this is what happens when a coach leaves.

It is but if I’m being honest our hopes this year are about 75 percent due to Cumberland and his decision. We can still be fine with him but not sure we were going to be very good without him even if we kept everyone else

I think we were still a top 25 team if Cumberland left and everyone else stayed. With everyone including Cumberland we would have been pushing top 10.

Curtis wasn't going to have a major impact next year anyway. Next year depends on Brooks and Cumberland. If both stay we should be top 10-15, if both go we will be lucky to make the NCAA tournament. If only one of the two go, we should still make the NCAA tournament as a low seed.

Not harsh re:Curtis. But yes re:Jackson.

Homerun press conference... Then alot of swings and misses.

Need something good to land asap.

Compare to Travis Steele.

In his first 2 weeks landed 2 grad transfers, and 2 very high level recruiters In Ben Johnson & Jonas Hayes

That was a man with a plan who knew exactly what he would do if he was made the coach.

To me... Brannen seems in over his head. He’s out here offering guys that have nothing but horizon league offers.

He staff is lacking any high level recruiters.

His presser made me want to run through a brick wall (until I listened to the nku presser, where he literally used the same phrases, it was literally the same speech) but now he’s done nothing.

we get it, anybody not cronin sucks, its clear brannen is over his head after 3 weeks.

we should all give up and not even give him a chance. he's clearly going to fail, its a certainty.

we should cancel the bball program and demolish 5/3. we can replace it with a tribute to mick cronin and all the miracles he worked.
