He has not reclassified.
Well to clarify, he has reclassified before, from 2019 TO 2020.
He has not reclassified.
To be fair half that list Mick guys he recruited. He was the best in nation in 90's
Yes, Mick was on staff from ‘96-‘01, so that really only affects the range of Ruben Patterson thru DerMarr, K-Satt, Harper. But let’s be honest, yes Mick was a part of the recruitment process, but Mick wasn’t the reason they were coming here.
Brennen must've heard me. We pushed out a all American before when we was #1 in countryNot cool.
Would be a bitch move to push him out in frickin June
Pushing out a player this late in the year would be a terrible look. If you don't want a guy, you let him know in April. You don't keep him around and tell him you want him, then push him out when a better recruit comes along.
If you think you've got a shot at a guy like Harvey, you hold onto a scholarship (or have a backup plan involving someone - like Vogt - being a walk-on for a year).
Hopefully we have backup plan (or Harvey is a 2020 guy). If we push out a guy this late in the year I expect a major drop in player loyalty in future years.

What’s your fascination with kicking Moore off the team? I get it, he isn’t good but he only has 2 years left and we have to fill 5 spots next year. Kicking off anyone at this point isnt accomplishing anything.I seen he wasn't wanted just off workout reports. We wouldn't had to add Jaevin if moore had developed enough for new staff. Not one word of how moore looks different this year at all from NOBODY!

Yeah that's what im saying. I also didn't start the guessing game that moore would be the odd man out.I think he was saying it if this other guy that we probably won’t get was a 2019 instead of a 2020 recruit.

I’m still holding out hope that Moore can give us something. Anything. If brannen can help him out, an extra shooter is never a bad thing. But of course, he has to actually make the shot.
Also- there were 4-5 guys the last couple years that literally gave us nothing. would have been nice to have a couple more players that could give us something.
Moore is damaged goods. When have you seen a so called "Pure Shooter" use up so much energy on defense and hustling just to get on the court. Taking a shot was the last thing on his mind. The same sets that were run for Cumberland, should have been the same for Moore. Once his confidence was stripped, so was his shot. I thought he would be Field Williams 2.0, but there was never an emphasis on getting your so called best shooter in the game, or running sets to get open looks. He may ne finding himself again in Brannen's offense.
How soon we all forget that Field Williams never got off the bench freshman and sophmore years because he was lost and too slow to play. Harvey would be huge. The highest ranked recruit we have had in a good while. If we can get him I think a couple more will follow. Harvey and loveday would be best case.
It would be huge but this whole thing has been pretty strange. Seems there was nothing linking us to this kid until a crystal ball went our way and had the UC experts baffled. Now there are 4 CB's for us.
I was hoping he was for 2020. But if this is for 2019 it gets even stranger. Surely the kid and his other suitors knew he could be eligible in either class so what would give UC the upper hand either way to just come in and snag him with little or no relationship?
If he is for 2019 there has to have been a contingency plan in place with another current player (or more). Who would have thought we would get to 13 roster spots in 2019? Anyway, I am hoping this is a 2020 recruit!
I don’t think it is strange. Everyone is just guessing. It means nothing. Maybe he likes our new coach and his plan for him. I have no idea. Would still be surprised if he came here. Nice to be in the conversation.
As far as the 2019 or 2020 thing, I have no clue. Haven’t seen much on him being in the 2019 so I don’t know.
Hard to say but again if this is a 2019 recruit I would hope there was already a contingency plan in place should something like this happen. That would have to entail at least one player who had a previous understanding of the situation.
I would be most comfortable with a guy like Vogt, who is sitting a year, that had a sit down with coach to go over such an event. Or even a Cronin holdover who was made aware of a situation of what would happen if we somehow got to 14.
If we get to 14 and push a player out, who was previously unaware that was a potential outcome, that would/could be a problem. In more ways than 1.
The whole Harvey thing is strange, still nothing from official sources. Hopefully it's not one guy taking a guess at a CB and others following along thinking the first guy knows something.
I'm hoping he's a 2020 guy or we have somebody like Vogt who is willing to walk-on for a year to make room. As good as Harvey looks, I don't think it's worth pushing a guy out this late in the year.
Even if there was an agreement with the player well in advance, it still looks bad. If the player was not made aware well in advance, then it is a terrible look that likely causes problems down the road.
