In this thread I'll track games that matter for our tournament chances. I'll separate them into two categories - one for our team sheet and one for other bubble teams. Only important games with a rooting interest will be included, and the preferred victor will be in bold.

Thursday January 30

Iowa @ Maryland

Minnesota @ Illinois
Oregon St @ Stanford
Portland @ St Mary's
Arizona @ Washington
Pepperdine @ BYU

Stanford picks up their second bad loss in as many games. The rest of their season (11 games) is all Q1 or Q2 games. Washington now has 10 losses, which probably pushes them off the bubble despite a win over Baylor.

Great comeback win for Bowling Green, who is now 8-1 in the MAC.

As noted in the other thread, big win for UConn to give us an extra Q1 game for now. Stanford lost in OT.

The A-10 will be interesting this year, it’s a down year for the AAC and the A10 is pretty good, Dayton is really the only lock, but VCU, Dusquesne, Richmond, Rhode Island, and evening St. Louis are legit bubble teams.

Would be a very bad look to have more A10 teams in, than AAC, but I can’t see more than 4 AAC teams making it max! Most likely it will be 2-3, the A10 is going to get at least 3 most likely, kinda scary to think about.

I think the only way the A10 gets more than 3 teams in is if the bubble teams can beat Dayton. 2 teams is probably more likely than 3 at this point.

Houston kills Wichita, which likely moves them into the top 30 and giving us our second Q1 win.
