UConn's win should keep them in the top 75. NC St was handed their third bad loss, and Minnesota now has 12 losses.

Lots of big bubble games tonight with Illinois, Purdue, Arkansas, VCU and Oklahoma all in action.

St. Johns really gave that one away too. Everything about the last 2 minutes reminded me of why St. Johns is St. Johns.

I almost bought tickets last minute, but after paying to see a disappointing SJ showing against Villanova a few weeks ago, I decided to save my money. Happy with my decision.

Vanderbilt @ Tennessee

Purdue @ Wisconsin
Illinois @ Penn St
Dayton @ VCU
Baylor @ Oklahoma

Arkansas @ Florida is a big bubble game, but I'm not sure who to root for.

Florida, right? It would be a big win for Arkansas on the road, and UF's Net ranking is 14 spots higher and most brackets have Florida in the 8/9 range, so I assume they're decently safe at this point.

Florida is a 10 on bracketmatrix right now. Their resume isn't great. They have 6 Q1/Q2 wins and 9 losses. Their only quality win in a month was at #134 Texas A&M.

And Arkansas is 4-9 in Q1/Q2, so they are running out of chances, and a loss tonight should put them out aside from a run to SEC tourney final or something.

I am rooting for this bubble to shrink, and Arkansas is on the way out, hopefully the door closes tonight.

Purdue now has 13 losses. VCU is running out of quality win opportunities. Arkansas continued their slide with a loss at Florida.

Wednesday February 19

Lehigh @ Colgate
East Carolina @ Memphis
SMU @ Tulane
Tulsa @ Houston

Furman @ E Tennessee St
Wofford @ UNC Greensboro
Texas A&M @ Alabama
George Mason @ Richmond
Boston College @ Virginia
Providence @ Georgetown
Indiana @ Minnesota
South Carolina @ Miss St
Wyoming @ Utah St
Duke @ NC St

A Tulsa win would probably vault them into the top 75, but drop Houston from the top 30. Most bubble teams are at home today, so I don't expect many to lose. A couple of big games in the SoCon, where E Tennessee St, Furman, and UNC Greensboro have realistic bubble chances.

Terrible day for the most part. SMU may drop out of the top 75. NC St got a huge win over Duke. Indiana got their 5th Q1 win. The only real bright spot was Alabama picking up a bad loss.

Vermont's win will almost certainly put them in the top 75. Northern Iowa couldn't take advantage of their last quality win opportunity. Arizona St and Stanford each picked up Q1 wins. Arizona St isn't really on the bubble anymore in my opinion.
