Draymond Green SO stats

9.9 ppg 7.7 rpg 3.0 apg 1.2 spg 0.9 bpg 52.5% FG 2-16 3s 67% FT

And that was for a Final 4 team. He is also 6'7" 230. Isn't that kind of what we're looking for from Clark this year? Or do we just accept that he has no NBA hopes and develop him into a 6'7" 260 post player destined for Europe? All these "SF" in the NBA today were just like Clark when they were FR and SO in college. But they developed. Clark has 3 years left. Seems like the vision for him in our fan base in 3 years is doing EXACTLY what he already does well now...I'll never understand that.

Comparing Clark to Green RIGHT NOW is apples and oranges. Green was a PF in college (he also STILL plays the 5 for GS sometimes when they go small). When Green was a FR he was 0-1 from 3 and he was 2-16 from 3 as a SO. Also 67% FT as a SO. The young Michigan State version of Green is much different than what he is now.

Also, Tyson Chandler is 7'1". There's no such thing in the NBA as a PF version of him bc you can only lack true offensive skill in the NBA if you're a 7 footer.

Okay by me saying he is a PF version of him, I considered a PF to be shorter than a C so I was assuming you would think as I was thinking and put it together that a PF version of him is a shorter version. I thought we were comparing to how they are now and not when they were the same age as Clark is now, my bad. If it was now though, I still would compare him to a SHORTER and a PF version of Tyson Chandler... Chandler averages 10 and 11, something Clark could be doing next year. For Chandlers career he averages 8.8 points a game, so yes he is a 7'1" guy lacking true offensive skill, but still gets his fair amount of points. And I believe Clark is far from being a complete offensive player much like Chandler, but Clark is a scrappy player who can find his way to getting 8-12 a game.

Chane couldn't dribble. Guys Clark can dribble from coast to coast with ease to score or assist. Chane was more so gates without laziness

Both are undersized PF's that cannot and will not play the 3 spot. Behanan was more of a powerful athlete that just relied on brute strength, Clark is more cerebral on offense.

6'7-6'8 is considered tall for college PF. You guys just don't understand thar Clark looked slow in post last year because he played on perimeter most of time. Chandler or chane never played on perimeter.

Wouldn't you call Clark our most complete offensive player?

Behanan shot 36 three's his freshman year, he clearly thought he was a perimeter player...

Not by any means, no. I would call Troy our most complete offensive player. I have no idea why you try to expand Gary Clark's offensive skills more than what they actually are.
That's what you call development. We changed Clark game. What can't you understand that the boy was more comfortable playing perimeter in high school over post. Did you ever wonder why his post moves were the slowest of all time? He by no means dominated in post. Not just Clark I want every player and coach to add something over summer to their game

Ok fair enough. I just don't think people realize that all these NBA guys weren't just drilling 3s their whole lives. Most of them had to build up to it, just like Clark needs to do IF he wants to play in the NBA someday. SO year for a player of Clark's caliber is a good time imo to start experimenting and getting comfortable with the idea of taking ALL open shots that are given to you.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Only time I saw Clark on the wing was on a switch on D or setting a pick on offense. Chane played on the wing. No that is not considered tall for college, that is around what most power forwards are. I've even seen Clark been called an undersized PF and he is 6'7".

Chane didn't play on perimeter. He just didn't listen and did his own thing. When they won it all he was best post player in tournament.

Ton of friends of mine are Louisville fans. They were pissed his freshman year because he kept trying to be a 3 man.
year he knew what it took to make it in league. He was one of the toughest dude to come out of city ever. was still trying to develop his game for next level

He finally realized in that amazing Elite 8 comeback against Florida that he was a beast in the post.

So by you saying all of these things means his offensive skills are developing? In highschool, I never watched him play and I am positive you haven't watched him play. But based on these "Ultimate" high school highlights, I rarely saw him on the perimeter. Mainly transition and post. When he was on the perimeter, I saw him shoot one three (which they cut off after he shot it, most likely because he missed), and one shot at the free throw line. Every other time he drove and then backed up the player and made POST moves.

You seen them handles though didn't you?
