I think it was Jacob that posted player interviews with Hoard. If I recall there wasn't one for Moore.

I recall either seeing a twitter pic or comment from the strength coach about every player but Moore.

Something seems to be going on here

I think you're reading too much into it. I see what you're saying but I also don't think there was a Tre Scott or a Jenifer interview. As for the pictures of losing weight and toning up, it's well known in high school that he went from 290 to 240. So obviously he has the ability to do it, so not seeing a pic of him on Twitter isn't the end of his career at UC.

I liked his minutes at the end of the first half yesterday but then he can in, in the second half and disappointed with poor footwork on d. I just hope he gets the minutes to prove himself and hopefully he takes advantage of them.

Ok...thanks for that insight. It does change my viewpoint.

We won't see the freshman doing anything media related until the 2nd semester (I know they were in the "Get to Know the Team" video but they won't do 1 on 1 interviews or press conferences).

Moore uses his hands too much on defense to try to make up for his slow feet. So he picks up fouls quickly. He also struggles to rebound. I think those are the things holding him back right now. I still have hope for him bc big guys with that kind of touch can be good college players. But even as we try to move towards an offensive scheme, defense, rebounding, and toughness will always be our staples. I just hope he sticks with the program.

Mick doesn't allow any freshman to speak with the media until the second semester.

I agree that defense always come first hence him being very last in the rotation. Sadly quick feet isn't something that pops out of nowhere. It'll take some time. I to hopes he sticks it out and doesn't give up and gets a better attitude. That's something that can change quickly.

About the slow feet...technique can at least help and he has poor technique to go with slow feet. He stands tall and unready a lot. He's often late because he doesn't anticipate instinctively. Kids who can see one step ahead (what is happening next...not right now) are the stat fillers.

Why can Gary Clark rebound so well? He has a nose for the ball and anticipates where it's going and gets to that spot first. Great guards will set up the next move like a chess match...they know what the defender will do...so they make that move to set up the next one. Instinct is something you have or dont...it's not easy to teach
