I don't think he'll steal Caupain's "job", but the fact is, he may be necessary to get the offense moving at times. There's no reason imo, to assume he can't be a better point than Caupain. I think Caupain is the better scorer, but he isn't nearly the facilitator Jenifer is. As for the all time assists bit, I think it's possible. He's a tremendous passer, no need to throw a fit about the kid having talent.


Look at our point guard play before Jenifer(during Mick's tenure), now watch him distribute. If you can't see the difference, you're either blind or in no position to criticize anyone's intelligence. I agree some people are going overboard, but you need to understand, that excitement doesn't exist in a vacuum. People can see he's going to be special. He's physically mature, he has a good handle, he's calm and he has great vision. That's something we haven't had here in a PG in over a decade. Cope with it.






That depends on what recruiting service you're looking at and honestly, those people's guesses aren't any bit better than the ones on this board.

So was SK, he also happens to be the second leading all time scorer next to Oscar.



He had one from Georgetown, Miami and Memphis. There's kids in those school's recruiting classes with offers from blue chippers, so do they just not know how to recruit? If no, then why the discrepancy?


That he wasn't offered by the 4 teams you mentioned is a fact, that it's because of his inherent skill level/ability and not someone else's, is an opinion.

You're right. Evaluating 5 stars is easy. That isn't who I'm evaluating, but nice try. You couldn't hold my jock working an event. Take that to the bank...

If you want to talk about all time great players who've you've never seen play in a real game or Final 4 trips after seeing 2 fake games have at it, but you're not contributing to any kind of intelligent discussion on this board.

Justin Jenifer isn't a top 100 recruit, he ranked 33rd at his own position, he's a 3 star recruit, he didn't have offers from UNC, Duke, UK, Kansas, ect for a reason. THOSE ARE ALL FACTS........they can't be argued. I hope he develops into the best PG we've ever had and that he's starting by the middle of this season because I agree that Caupain off the ball would be better for the team. That however is a long shot, be patient with the kid and give him time and eventually he'll be a strong player I'm sure. Might not happen this season though, and that's okay.

This is all The truth!
Last year all everybody did before the season started with talk about Johnson look how that turned out when I was talking about Cobb....
Now this year everybody's talking about jenifer when really everybody should be talking about Evans like me instead you are looking at the wrong player..... (Jenifer who will only avg 11 mins a game). Everyone who is thinking jenifer is going to be this great savior this year and next year is wrong now when he's a junior or senior he might be running this team but not now it's CAUPAINS team......

10,000 kids out there. You either looking at kids whose parents can afford to send them to best camps or freak of natures. Unless I'm at an best of best camp I've NEVER seen a national recruiting analyst

I've seen nothing but glowing reviews of Evans.

Also, it isn't Caupain's team. We have a ton of depth, no one player is above the rest. And I bet Troy would be the first to tell you that. We don't go as any one individual player goes. That's what is so special about this group. Troy will be a leader, don't get me wrong. But to say it's HIS team is a little strange imo.

Just because you play pg or don't play pg doesn't make it your team. That's cool you like Evans I hope he's turns out to be star. I'm just trying win championships.

I didn't mean to say it's caupains team I meant he's the leader, I have heard on more than one occasion Mick has said this is his team to lead

Why do you think this one guy makes us win Championships he's not all that.
I hope we can win it all as well with all 11 but I just don't think all 11 will contribute against good teams. There for meat of schedule there will be a 8-9 man rotation....

I hate to say it but there is one player that I'm pretty sure still isn't ready for anything more than emergency minutes in big games. At this moment I would be willing to plug the rest of the guys in for extended minutes if there is a situation that calls for it. Things could change

I trust Moore over Scott. I think both ready for AAC
 
I have seen nothing from Moore that has impressed me. His play so far has earned him only the garbage minutes. If Scott plays well tomorrow, and during the first couple of cupcakes, I want him playing the back up minutes for Clark over Moore.

On the court is only half of it. I have heard a story about every other player on the roster by the head coach or the strength coach or an interview. These may be anecdotal things but clearly he had attitude issues last year with suspension. Add this all up and it's not real positive so I hope something clicks for him and the light goes on. He has an NBA body...but he's got to put in the work and buy in.

I think it was Jacob that posted player interviews with Hoard. If I recall there wasn't one for Moore.

I recall either seeing a twitter pic or comment from the strength coach about every player but Moore.

Something seems to be going on here
