I just want see no major injuries. Scott and Moore get quality time to get confidence going, KJ,Cobb, and Shaq ZERO turnovers, Caupain not walking ball up court

I'm looking for complete domination on both ends of the floor. I'm interested in seeing more of this freshman class and getting a better feel about how they will fit in. I'm looking for an effort that gets me completely stoked for the regular season to start. I know we will be good defensively, but I'm looking for validation that there is increasing emphasis on the offensive part of the game. I would like to see 100 pts. up on the scoreboard at the end of the game.

Im actually excited to watch the second exhibition game against bellermine.

I upgraded to 4 rows back center court for that game instead of my normal season tickets ( only bc it was so cheap)

Bellermine went 31-4 in d2 last year and has a pretty high scoring team. It won't be much competition for UC however they are much better than a lot of the D2 teams.

Bellermine is playing Louisville first, then UC then Indiana. Probably see them play there hearts out for these exhibition games

Didn't we play them couple years back?

We have played Bellermine for a couple of years now. I remember Mick saying he likes playing them because of how well they move the ball. It's true, Bellermine usually has a bunch of shooters and they are always making the extra pass to the open guy. It's good practice for the zone. Looking at the schedule, we have played them 4 of the last 7 seasons. Bellermine is averaging ~ 68 points against us. Offensively, they are a good tune up for the regular season.

I believe Mick is also friends with Scott Davenport their head coach

30 Second Clock

I just finished listening to an interview with DeCourcy (Sporting News) on the UConn radio network. He thinks the new 30 sec shot clock will work to the advantage of better defensive teams. DeCourcy specifically mentioned Cincinnati as the team that could benefit the most from the new clock rule. That is 1 of the reasons I like this Cincinnati team to make a run at the National Championship.

It's definitely a benefit for us. Mick has spoken a lot about how he is excited for the new rules and he wants to embrace it rather than complain about the changes. We are basically going to play a 2-2-1 press into a matchup zone all season. Unfortunately come tournament time you need either a great offense or 1 or 2 NBA guys. It is still to be seen if UC has either(potential for the latter).

We need a NBA wing player

I will be at the game. Looking forward to getting this season started. I've been excited for months now, relieved that the season starts this week!

Yea me too.
With the Reds being a dud this year and not being a huge NFL fan, I just wanted to fast forward to UC basketball again.

I Bought Season tickets out of that excitement (though only the Bearcat liar tickets).
I can't Wait to see what UC can do this season..

PS Louisville played Bellermine (exhibition game #2) on friday and won 72-55. Hopefully UC handles them the same and were able to see more of the new guys

I'll be in attendance too. I have season tickets as well. Bearcat lair level too. Best deal money can buy.

My family has had season tickets for awhile. Section 105 or so, nice seats. I am still a student though so getting those free block tickets comes in hand nicely. Expecting to be at every home game this season.

Mick talking about the scrimmages. Says a couple of interesting things. Doesn't know who will start. Everyone will play. This team won't win a Championship with only 6 guys. The guys who are in shape, and he says "the older guy", will play more (maybe about Jenifer playing)? Freshman needing to play and play smart/ well in order to compete. Good video.
