Shaq is a lot more aggressive this year
Jenifer will have a lot of turnovers against good competition
Cobb scores a lot in a hurry and quietly
Caupain has the smoothest shot
Ellis acted like he didn't want to be there
Clark is a monster on the boards but didn't look to score
Evans is the best freshman and is going to score a lot of points this year
kj needs to stay around the basket.

Cobb is the man. Didn't even seem like he played that much but you're right, boy can he score.

KJ was fine from 3 I thought. And his biggest mistake imo was when he didn't take a corner 3 but drove instead and threw a bad pass.

Jenifer looked to me like he was trying to do too much. He had some nice passes though. Really can see the whole floor and make the right pass when he needs to. Just seemed to me like he was still trying to be too fancy and was trying passes that worked in high school. Nothing our of the ordinary for a freshman. Think he will give TC a nice break this season when he needs it.

Stayed for the whole and my impressions were:
1.Wow this offense looks entirely different: far more passes that led to open shots than last year or the year before
2. Jacob Evans is the real deal
3. Justin Jenifer reminds me of tyler ullis, Im not sure he will be as good but they are the same type of player.

4. was NOT impressed with the rebounding at all, even though it was exhibition, I just expected more of a fight for the boards down low.

5. 1-3 looked really solid, the weakness tonight was actually the 4-5 with Ellis and Clark a bit gun shy. but GVS "bigs" were playing there hearts out to keep the ball out of ellis hands and keep him uncomfortable.

6. Ellis looked a bit disinterested, but i think that will change as the games get bigger

7. UC offensive tempo is far faster than last year.

We can really push it with Jenifer and Shaq in together. GREAT option for a change of pace.

The 22 assists part will work. They should never turn it over 10 times vs that team. The turnovers must get fixed. I wouldn't worry about that total if it wasn't a major problem last year, but we are just too sloppy with possession of the ball too often.

If this team has a chance to go where we want them to go, the turnovers must stop.

The bigs have to get it figured out. 7 of the turnovers came from non-guards. Can't happen.
