My first post here. I'm still an ohio kid at heart. I have family and friends still in Ohio and still visit every couple yrs. I grew up watching bearcat and buckeye football/basketball but i moved down to houston and graduated at UH. Went to last yrs game which was very close rooting UH first and then UC. If UH lost, I'd be fine with it.
Nice to see UC have a great turnout against UH on Thursday even though they lost.
UC played evenly with UH for 3 quarters. UC's defense was incredible. Tyson and Kinard are the real deal. But holding a special player like Ward (even injured) is tough for a whole game and is asking a lot.
UC's offensive line did well to protect the qb for 3 quarters but couldn't do anything to create any holes for a running game. Moore has a very difficult time under pressure but showed positive signs for the deep ball. But overall UC's one dimensional offense was frustrating to watch but give credit to Houston, they're one of the elite defenses in the nation. Houston recruiting 5 star defensive lineman Oliver makes them tougher this yr.
DOn't know if guys know, but after Ward graduates Houston already has 5 star QB Kyle Allen getting ready for next yr. Allen left A&M to join Tom Herman.
Feel a little sorry for next week but UC is gonna take all their frustrations on Miami.lol Btw, I predict both UC and UH are going to be in the Big 12.
