I think Gabe size and shot making will translate. I could see him with a couple big games. I could also see Eason step right in and be able to rebound and defend. Saunders and mason, I’m unsure. Getting them in here early would really help.

I get that Mason isn't real athletic, but he's got size, looks strong, and looks to have a great shot.

I think he'll be a little better than just a tag along to his brother (i mean this over 4 years, not next year).

I agree. Mason will be good. Good shot, seems to know how to run a team, from what I’ve seen. I think he’ll be fine.

gotta say don't like the fact that brannen said its been really limited reps this week and they are just focused on getting guys healthy.

I don't mind it in the sense the depth on this team is thin, guys are banged up, mentally and physically. Also I don't think reps will really help this team at this point, the same issues we had in November are still the same issues going into March and I am sure they have gone over it 100 times in practice and it still shows up every game.

I think you'd like to go into your toughest game of the season knowing everybody was healthy enough to practice.

We're kinda limping to the finish line over here.

Can’t win either way. We have 2 big tough games in less than a 48 hour span. If we win it’s genius, if we lose, he should have got the guys reps. Honestly if guys are hurt, let’s get them heathy for these last couple weeks. If jarron is hurt, let’s get him somewhat back. Can’t keep going 3-13 and hope for fouls.

i mean for our hopes of winning the game. it probably would have been better if guys were healthy enough to practice. a week off plus limited practice could leave us a bit rusty and out of rhythm.

i was just expressing hearing "we had a great week of practice" makes you feel a lot better than "well, we had limited reps cause guys are banged up, we didn't get in as much as i hoped"

If I'm writing a list for players already here MAW probably comes in 4th.

I don't expect a freshman to be our best player, but its possible one of them is better than MAW next year.

MAW has really struggled being an off guard so I wonder how him and Saunders will fit together.

I think Harvey is the better candidate to make a big jump from freshman to sophomore.

Gabe?

Jarron can barely dunk at 6’5”. There are other ways to get the job done. At minimum he can be used for a heat check from 3 and he sounds like he can be average to above average D. 3 and D for Brannen will probably work out well

Feel really bad for the brannen family today, to have his dad pass away during the most important time of the season of his first year at a major program.

Thoughts and prayers for John brannen, one of the toughest things a person has to go through is losing a parent, basketball aside that family seems like great people all around and it sucks that they have to go through this, especially right now.

Especially if some others are banged up. I know a lot of teams are banged up at this point but we didn’t have much of a bench to start with. It’s not great.

If I could have one game back, it would be the UConn game. If we win that, the pressures eases a bit for today.

Today’s game will have the biggest implications for the tourney we’ve had in a long while for a single regular season game.

Pressure is high.

Add in the non basketball factors like Brannen’s father and this is a Serious wall to climb.

If we pull this off, this whole team will earn a lot of respect nationally and from Bearcats fans like myself.

Let’s get lit.

Vogts getting pushed in the back every time he goes up for a rebound, that being said he has to adapt and do the same if they aren’t calling it
