When the game is super close at the end, I turn off the game at end and follow only what’s posted on this site.

It worked a few times last year and worked against temple so. I’m sticking with it

Haha no way! Lol. I've told myself I was going to turn it off before but I've never actually been able to.

Now if I'm betting on a random game, I can easily turn those off and follow on my phone. I'll never forget the one year in Vegas I got all my bets in and went back to the room to watch the first set of games (they start at 9 AM). I had UL-Lafayette and they were down like 14 with under a minute left at +6. I got pissed and turned it off and by the time I got off the elevator and checked my phone I saw they somehow lost by 4 and covered. To this day I have no idea how it happened. But I had to triple check it to make sure it was right. Then I even went to a separate app to make sure it was right. Hilarious win. Nothing like betting on the Sunbelt.

Rob Gray is 22-60 from the floor against UC in his career, including 2-21 from 3-point range. Of course, the guys who mostly guarded him are no longer here, but if we can keep that sort of lid on him we should be fine.

seems like elite scorers always light us up. or maybe I just remember those more. Seems like mick doesn't change much for elite scorers. which can be a good and bad thing. I think we win at home by 10-15

Lol!! When my son was competing, when things got tight I had to run out of the arena. I couldn't watch.

Yea.

Lucky for me this year, I didn’t have to experience in person a loss this year. I was driving to Indiana for the Xavier game and was at the hospital with my clumsy daughter for the Florida game

While it's frustrating to watch one guy go nuts against us as long as the opposing team as a whole scores 60 or so I could care less if one guy gets half of them. Sometimes bad teams rely on one player too much to carry the load and doing this can cause other players to not be involved in the game. With that said I love when we shut down a teams best player.

I am really starting to expect scores closer to 50 now. I hope I am not getting too greedy...lol!

JK...I know Houston can score a little bit...maybe 60 is a good number for them. I also don't care if someone scores 30 points as long as it's done with a low FG%. Volume scoring and efficient scoring are two different things.

We have done a very good job lately of staying in front of our man on D but a team with some quickness on the perimeter will be a challenge.

I’m actually a little concerned this could be too close for comfort. Houston has a lot of momentum and they may want this game more than our guys do.

I just hope we desperately want to defend home court

This is so stupid this game is on cbs sports

There are only a few games each year in conference where nobody gets worried. We hear about a trap game about every other game it seems. I am sure I am guilty as well sometimes. I expected to come out flat vs ECU and we did...but that is because they suck and we were coming off a nice road stretch. I thought we would then come out and be energized against Temple and we were.

I think the trap games are the one's that aren't on the radar or "circled on the calendar". I don't see Houston as a trap game and I don't see us coming out flat. Houston has some big things to play for...but so do we. Nation's longest home court winning streak. Conference title. NCAA seeding. Polls. etc etc. If we come out flat someone needs their head checked.

very interested to see what evans does against the smaller guards
I'm hoping he does what he is capable of and gets about 20

I hope he also dominates them defensively. He can guard multiple positions.

I was listening to Cronin in one of the videos. Can't recall if it was Houston pre game or not. Cronin flat out said...Evans, Clark, and Cumberland can basically guard 1-5. That is an extreme position to take...unless you are the coach and have just made that proclamation.

The two best defenders we may have had in the Cronin era prior to this year (in terms of switching on multiple positions) was Justin Jackson and Titus Rubles. I would probably go ahead and throw Bishop in there as well.

According to Cronin we now have 3 of them on the same team. Whoa!!
