That's a lie, did you hear his halftime speech? I'm sorry I've been a bearcat for 35 year and Cronin can't coach, We wish he would have went to UNLV. He went to Troy and Kyle and we lost and turned the ball over.

Whos we? You can stop being a fan, I dont think anyone would care. Also, you say he went to troy and kyle...Which is far from true. Kyle is going to shoot it when he gets it in the post, Cronin didnt teach him to do that, that is what he does, and it worked for the entire year. And if you watched, you would have noticed after time outs the play was always get the ball to gary.

So please go be a UNLV fan since Mick isnt their coach

This past year was a lot of fun and highly successful. The group of players were so much fun to watch on and off the court. I think next year can be even more successful but we'll need some luck to have another injury free year. One torn ACL to a starter could be devastating to this team. Health can never be taken for granted in athletics.

Why even bother speculating about that.

What would be your gameplan vs UCLA?

You guys are just too much! :) are you just pulling his leg or if not, why are you guys conversing with this guy. It is actually a little bit entertaining though unwinding at the end of the day reading all this.

I just DON'T understand how most of you guys can get excited about watching UC play the likes of ECU, Tulane, USF, Memphis, etc. game after game. As for the clown who says WSU and VCU are coming to the AAC, you're nuts, checkout what both schools had said about this, NO THANK YOU. Look guys UC put all of it's eggs in one basket when they thiught for sure they were heading to the Big 12, the bottom line is FOOTBALL drives the bus, regardless how good you think your B-Ball team is Nipert stadium is beatiful, but it's way to small, period. NO TEAMS in the Big 12 wanted to play here, like it or not UC is what it is, and I'll even go as far as to compare UC basketball to the likes of a VCU, Wichita St, even a Gonzaga type, but the difference is, these teams have made runs to final 4' and elite 8's something the mighty Mickey Mouse Cronin has failed to ever do. Keep telling yourselves things are getting better, but it will ALWAYS be the same ole story year after year, until UC get into a Bif Conf. and gets a coach who can take them to the next level. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile, Mick or is it Marvin Cronin and Mick Lewis neither can't even do that. 100% FACT! Good day fantasy wish UC fans! ( LOL )

I know douche-hole is blocked now....But......

Would love to see us get to 14 in both football and basketball if that's the case. So maybe add VCU basketball only and then a Colorado state or Boise state for both, idk just the first couple schools that came to mind. But if we aren't getting into the big 12 or another p5 soon we need to do our best to be the p6 conference.

Not that you asked me, but...Can't fault the game plan that much but I probably wouldn't have put such a focus on getting it to Gary and Kyle when they have multiple 7 footers. I would have focused more on dribble penetration since they can't play play on the ball defense at all.

Secondly, while I definitely agreed with slowing the game down I think there was too much emphasis on it. You could tell when Evans had wide open looks early in the shot clock and hesitated to shoot them. Same with Gary. It affected their confidence and made them hesitant.

Lastly, I would have gotten out of the zone early in the second half. It was obvious UCLA made adjustments and then they started picking it apart. I would have went man while switching on ball picks.

We haven't had guys drive all year. Either they can't or won't. I also didn't think defense was a problem. Whatever defense you run, they will get some open looks. Just my opinion

Ok well you brought up the two most relectunant shooters on our team and blamed the gameplan. Evans doesn't pass up on shots because coach told him not too, same with Gary. That's one of the things they both need to focus on in the off season.

First, I didnt' blame the gameplan, those were just my thoughts on what I would have done differently. Second, Evans was second on the team in FGAs, only slightly behind KW. He can be more aggressive but he isn't a reluctant shooter. However you could tell he was being reluctant early in the shot clock against UCLA.
