Long time follower, first time poster. This time of year is always hard on us Cats fans isn't it? Seems that every season, after the "Cronin Crash", the "experts" look for people to hang or things to change. Truth is, is this as good as it gets now? Have we become a fan base content on winning 25 games against bad opponents? Seems the answer to both questions is yes. Cronin came into an unwinable situation. Fan base rebelled (and rightfully so). Talent pool in Clifton was bare. Rankings? Never even came across our minds for 3 years. Mick brought the program back to being respectable and exciting at times. To that, I thank him. That said, I am not content with the program. I am not content with being embarrassed every March by a pathetic offense and a team lost on national television. I am tired of seeing players come here with 0 basketball skills with no hope of development. I am sick of the excuses made for the poor planning and lack of direction this program has. Cronin has his defenders, as does every coach. The program has it's true fans who will always be there, win or lose. It is frustrating to see those on here who are content with each year's Cronin Crash. Is this as good as it gets? I hope not.
