This is completely random but this morning I was thinking: What would you have said if you were told at the beginning of this season that Parker would start as a senior? I would have had little hope for the success of the team.

This kid has absolutely busted his ass behind the scenes and become a hard-nosed defender and rebounder that can put together solid offensive runs as well. I'm excited to see his improvement into next year. It's cliche, but he and Cash will be the glue of this team. Cash will control the offense, but I think when Parker plays well next year, this team will be tough to beat.

Scheilds21, Parker will certinly be a key piece of the puzzle. If he improves his outside shot just a little and finishes a little stronger on his slashes to the hoop he will be a force. He rebounds well enough to pay in a 4 guard set,his D is often over looked and he has played some point. He also knocks down free throws. If he works as hard this offseason as he did last year he will be must see TV.

i don't see why it was that hard to believe. he took the starting point guard job from cashmere for part of the winter during his freshman year. he had a bad offseason after that, and got lost in a numbers game when larry davis proved himself to be a very good ball pressure defender. if a guy is capable of playing minutes his freshman year at the toughest spot on the floor, i certainly expect him to start as a senior.

Agreed, however after his sophomore season I didn't see that happening. I had high hopes for him after his freshman year. My only point was heading into this past season, I figured he would basically just have a role to give Cash a breather.

I never thought that Dixon would be a 1,000 pt. scorer so the sky's the limit for Jaquon. I hope that his hard work rubs off on the younger guys. He is pound for pound the best glue guy in country.

fair enough. i think the fan base was split heading into this year. a lot wanted to disgard him and push him out to hopefully make room for god's gift achiuwa (obviously didn't come to that). i think others viewed him as a guy who would definitely start this year.
