Taking Justin Martin (or any other grad transfer) is essentially saving a scholarship because it would be available for the '15 class so not sure why you have that logic.
Correct.

Doubt it. Guys who average 16 ppg in Division I and have 2 years of eligibility remaining don't grow on trees.
Correct.
Sarcasm guys sarcasm lol. Posted it like that to show he is not a priority for UC
Im confused, is justin Martin realistic or is everyone just throwing crap at the wall here?

lots of reason Martin could be considering UCuntil I see an article or video of him stating his interested schools I just cant believe it. Not just because he is from xavier, but because noone has reported this that anyone has seen. I mean we all saw more Torian Graham related UC news than Justin Martin.
So twitter aside, because the only people who have said anything on twitter are all just fans. The only thing is a memphis paper, which makes absolutely no sense that a memphis paper has the scoop on the guy but a cincinnati paper doesnt. Or the fact that Im sure there are cincinnati fans down in memphis that could have gotten their hands on it and took a picture or anything.
Especially after the brawl, everyone knows who UC and XU are. So I just find it weird that noone saw this article, thought wait a minute dont those schools hate eachother, and then made this public in any way shape or form. The one guy who made it public was nonchalant about it. Justin martin is going to cincinnati. Thats basically all he said. Now Idk if an OSU player left for michigan and one of us posted it on a site we would be a little more baffled than "hes committing to cincinnati"
lots of reason Martin could be considering UC
1. Available playing time
2. Perhaps to stick it to Mack
3. He enjoys the area or has a local girlfriend
4. Sees UC as a better option to make the tourney next year.
5. The fact it has never been done before.
Could also be a combination of all the above. Either way will all no soon enough.
LOL! That is a understatement. It's never soon enough on this board.
you could certainly add that one to my list.Best logical guess why he would transfer is he has pretty good paying job lined up in area.
Stewart
Haywood
Cobb
Harris
Save a Scholly
Save a Scholly
Justin Martin
So according to this list we are down to
Stewart
Martin
Shreiner
For the final roster spot. Ha wow things change fast last week Martin was priority #6 and this week he is 1 or 2.

Why was he ever #6? Why would you save a scholarship before taking a guy who won't be here next year anyway? I know that list was before we got Cobb, but c'mon. Realistically, Martin has been a Top 3 priority for about a month now.
I wouldn't say he was ever priority #6, but he was probably around there if you're going in order by likelihood. People can talk to him on the 17th, right? That's two days. We shall see I guess.
don't think its cool saying a X is your favorite.I just came across this list and saw how much it has changed in a week I def agree Martin was always in top 3 he just can't be had yet that's what's holding things up. he was one of my favorite recruits we are after this summer.
